Don't count out future DLC. It's entirely possible that they will add in new tracks and even new ships at some point down the road. Game has a lot of potential outside it's current, apparent awesomeness if it is supported in the future like Warhawk has been.

I have to say that I disagree with the writer of this article when he says that consoles have the same capabilities of storage and communication. My PC can hold so much more HDD space than my PS3 and I think the biggest HDD for a 360 is what? 120 gig?
Online communication I feel is also much better across PC games with programs such as Ventrilo. I've not used xbox live but Ventrilo is light years ahead of voice comms on the PSN and I'd be very surprised if it wasn't miles better...

You're pretty deluded if you think that 360 lineup is superior to the PS3's mate. Gears 2 will sell huge, Fable probably will sell a lot and L4D will sell a fair amount also, that isn't in dispute. But that is 3 games you've got coming out versus R2, Motorstorm 2,SOCOM, LBP. Not to mention SOCOM will be a pretty hefty console seller given it's PS2 fanbase who have yet to convert.

You know from watching the 1080p trailer downloaded from the playstation store, I really can't wait to get my hands on Wipeout HD. Judging by the video that game just looks visually stunning. I know it hasn't pushed the PS3 to it's max or anywhere close but that's the scary part lol. Games like that and Uncharted look so incredibly sick at this early stage of the console's life-cycle
Hopefully they go through with a better marketing strategy now. I mean anyone who isn't a fanboy knows the PS3 is great value for money considering the features of the console, they just need to get the message out there a bit better. If for no other reason than to create more competition resulting in better games and services for all of us, regardless of which platform you support and love.
the demo of the game was pretty fun. I've actually puy a couple of hours into it lol. I have the PS3 version and the colours on my HDTV look pretty damn slick, I know this has been said a lot here so far but yeah that video is definitely not an accurate representation of what was on my TV at all.

from some reviews I have read on the MGS4 headset it is indeed a good headsrt but the microphone is much much too sensitive which is wht I didn't buy one myself. I knew there was one coming with SOCOM and decided to wait on that at least in case it was actually a Sony branded product.
