This will be a sweet feature when it does come in, I rarely miss anything I want to watch due to being a Sky+ user but it does happen from time to time so this will be welcome.
Hopefully the US and other regions of the world can get something similar, like don't NBC have the functionality on their site to watch shows that were already aired liked Heroes? Would be cool if US customers could have that built into their PS3's just like we will get the iPlayer.

Considering the only part of the game anyone has played is the multiplayer beta I'd say you're most definitely wrong about the AI lol.

The only figures you ever see are the US sales figures from NPD. The majority of multi platform games selling more on the 360 is something fanboys like to flash around based on US only figures.
The world is bigger than the US which is reflected in the financial reporrts for any company that operates on a worldwide basis.
Well some rival MMO players have already murdered one another so it's not such a far fetched notion.
It's pretty sad and ridiculous but I wouldn't let it annoy me for a moment, those that lower the scores of games out of spite would love the notion of you being annoyed or angry at them.
Why do they even make it possible for users to rate unreleased games anyway?
Besides, I don't pay attention to user reviews very much anyways because of the whole fanboy phenomenon, I'll read an official review from a more respected site like IGN just to get a little feel on what the game is like and what to expect.
Was going to buy this anyway but good to see it has got a very positive review that has just cemented my decision to purchase one.

I stopped reading when I read his suggestion of ditching the Blu-Ray drive. I had absolutely no idea my PS3 had a BR drive or what BR even was until Sony posted me a copy of Casino Royale on Blu-Ray just because I signed up for a PSN account and tbh I absolutely love the fact that I now own one. Not to mention as some already have that there are games out for PS3 and coming out that need the storage space of the disc.

I don't think it "looks" like a 300 rip off by any means, it was just that comment that little kid made about them blocking out the sun that got me, it seemed unoriginal. It's a great line but the rest of the commercial is so good I think they could have come up with something of their own.

Really good commercial, liked it a lot other than the blatant 300 rip off thats in there, they could have said something else like about darkness coming or something.
Those devs on that thread aren't really doingthemselves any favours, seems like they're alienating and agitating quite a few of their customers.
All they really need to do is moderate inappropriate (obscene or otherwise) posts and take on board the criticisms of their player base.
I've never seen these in the UK, they'll probably hit these shores in about a year along with the video store.
That's my biggest beef with Sony, Europe is probably their biggest market for the PS3 and gets the shaft constantly.

No doubt some people will have bad experiences here and there but personally I've never had any problems with the PSN.
From Warhawk which I played on day 1 along with RFOM and Motorstorm right up to like wipeout hd and a few other games the PSN has never given me much of a problem when it comes to lag or anything like that.
