I'll be honest I never ever keep track of how long I spend to complete a game. As long as it's a lot of fun to play and (depending on the type of game) has some good characters and story I'm pretty happy with whatever game I buy.
I'm in the UK and tbh I haven't seen very many TV ads for the exclusive sony games or the console in general.
I think the question posed by the article (Is KZ2 doomes?) is a little silly as it isn't doomed at all, it'll sell very well but I get what the article is trying to get and and tbh I agree. I haven't seen a single ad on TV (or anywhere for that matter) here in my part of the UK. I know about all the releases because I'm an avid gamer but not everyone is.

Pretty sure wipeout HD is just under 1 gig which is surprised me considering how much detail is in the game. It's smaller than R&C Quest for Booty anyway, which was about 1.3 gig IIRC

Normally whoever he expects to sell more units per month is wrong, it's got nothing to do with console allegiance, it's just that the guy is just an idiot who has a probable highly paid job and completely sucks a$$ at it.
I love the visuals in MS2, couldn't give a monkeys if it doesn't match some target render.
It looks great and the gameplay is fun, it's a winner in my book.

I doubt this would make the RRoD issue increase at all, it might brick a couple or need them restored to original state and then reupdated or something but that's not unusual with hardware. My iPod needed restoring to factory settings and then reupdated (lost all my music on the device) after a software update from apple.

I've worked in call centres as team leader etc. and that kind of response isn't surprising tbh. A lot of people get very defensive and want to avoid complaints being made in case they are included in the complaint. It's basically just human nature although it doesn't help anyone in the long run.
The responsability falls on Sony and/or the company they use to outsource their customer support teams to screen calls and maintain standards better which was something I tried to active...

Killzone 2 disagrees
LBP was released here on Wednesday, Motorstorm today (picking up after work) and will buy R2 on Nov 28th (release date in the UK) which is ok since I need tome to get more paycheques lol. Not to mention I'm gonna go see Quantum of Solace tonight and have a few strong beverages afterwards so yeah, between games and anything else I be broke now lol.
But at the same time I don't mind cuz of all the awesomeness lol.
I remember seeing the trailer for this game and thought it looked cool and saw a bit more on it and thinking I'd like to play this game as it looked promising. Glad to read that the promise of it being a good game is still there and it's not a bad thing that it isn't being hyped up right now because hype just sets things up for a big fall most of the time.

It sure did sell a couple of thousand more consoles for 7 weeks in a row but that isn't a lead, that's playing catch up and with this week's PS3 sales they've just fallen further behind over there.
