Pretty well written article. I agree with it's view on Nintendo's software lineup for the WiiU. Great first party games but lacking in third party. The WiiU wil do nicely with its First Party games but gamers like me will be missing out on some of the third parties. It's no huge deal but I do like assassins creed.
The game looks pretty fun, I'll probably pick it up when it drops a little in price like mario kart.
They're not. That would be a stupid decision, have you ever heard of the dsi? The "new" 3ds is basically the same concept. They've said it time and time again that they're going to support the WiiU for its entire lifespan, which is at least 5-6 years. Making a new console is what sega did and look where they are now. Nintendo's not going to make the same mistake.
Honestly I think the WiiU will end up second place behind the PS4. Whether it will be close or not remains to be seen.

When were we ever talking about sales? Never. We're talking about games here. And yes I agree the WiiU sales aren't that great, but it's picking up and is currently outselling XBox one week over week, and don't bringing in the year head start excuse, that doesn't change the fact that it's CURRENT sales numbers are less than WiiU's. I can predict the next Xbox and PS that's for sure. Exact same thing with upgraded specs. Oh and don't forget the yearly cods and Assasin creeds, Forza and GT, maybe a few fifa's and Maddens in there too. You know, the usual.

I agree, the DLC pack is such a good deal. 6 new characters, 6 karts/parts or something like that and 16 tracks all for only $12. No brainer right there.

Your "logic" is flawed. In case you hadn't noticed WiiU is outselling XBox One globally week over week, so It won't pass WiiU unless it's weekly sales are higher.
It's actually not good, it's also nintendo's job to advertise its third party games to create more awareness towards it and convince it's users that it's worth buying.
It doesn't matter how long it took, it doesn't change the fact that WiiU has 2 million more users than XBoxOne. And the WiiU is currently selling better weekly than XBox One so it's unlikely XBox One will pass it.

No I'm not, I already bought mariokart when it came out and its $48 now on Amazon and has been for a few weeks. The games only been out for a few months so I expect Hyrule Warriors to do the same. That's why I don't shop at GameStop ;).
