It is. Kraken gets a compression ratio a little under 2:3 (60% more data), The SX allows for both the traditional LZ compression, as well as BCPack to be used at the same time for a combined compression ratio of 2:1 (100% more data).

Not the best option by a long shot, but also a far cry (pun intended) better than EA.

Depends on the country. In Canada there is a "displayed price" law, Section 74.05 of the competiton act "prohibits the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price"

section 54 "prohibits the supply of a product at a price that exceeds the lowest of two or more prices clearly expressed in respect of the product."

A sale is also considered legally final once money changes hands. This applies to online ...

Hopefully a remake of Crisis Core for PS5, but i have serious doubts.

This isn't the normal holo Blastoise. It is a prototype that was never officially released.

IMO most low budget indie games should be made as physical releases for older cartridge systems like the NES, SNES, Genesis & N64. That way they can feel like AAA games, while still being affordable for smaller indie devs. It would even allow them to charge a bit more for the game than they otherwise would be able to, as there is collectors value in the carts. Maybe some devs could partner with LRG for retro physicals.

Never said it was on the same level, just that it is technically haptic feedback.

The SX already has haptic feedback. They have had it since the Xbox One came out.

IMO it is one of the worst. It is a major story spoiler. I hate when media spoils later parts of its story during an intro.

The current internal drive is 3.0, but the interface is 4.0. It can be upgraded.

Both of the SX drives are user replaceable, and the internal one is a standard off the shelf m.2. The PS5, only the external is replaceable. The internal one is solderd to the main board. Which one is limited again?

That has been debunked repeatedly. Console optimization hasn't really meant much since the PS3. A console with identical hardware may get 10-15% higher framerates at best. A 3060ti and Ryzen 5 2600x provide roughly the same performance as the PS5, and that is without even using DLSS. Once DX12 Ultimate and Nvidias version of resizable bar come out, the 3060ti / 2600x build will likely destroy the PS5.

@RazzerRedux:

Admittedly the address issue is a bit suspicious. Though being a small team, they might just be working from home and not actually have any company offices. Using a virtual address for site registration is understandable. Would you want to give out your home address to thousands of people online?

The registration date means nothing. What is the point in registering a site for a product that you do not even have any images of to show off? The...

@RazzerRedux:

You think they ordered 304 units, and had them all magically customized the instant they were removed from the shipping box? Now who is reaching? They likely would have got them at launch. It takes time to disassemble and paint 304 systems. This is not some massive multi national corporation with million dollar assembly lines to do this stuff. It is a small independant team of modders, almost certainly doing it all by hand. It doesn't happen over night.

@RazzerRedux:

They likely used bots, same as the scalpers. Also possible they could have got them from stores in smaller towns that didn't sell out as fast. Common sense extends beyond just validating criticism.

Several people on Twitter have already reported getting full refunds.

If it was a scam, they would not be providing full refunds. All evidence points to it having been legit. People these days are such paranoid schizos.

That falls under the "lower upfront cost" that i already pointed out.
