According to recent reports, it will be ~40% more powerful in general, with ~3x the RT performance.
There are a few new PCIe 4.0 NVME drives with read speeds of ~5GB/s, which is not far off of the PS5s 5.5GB/s.

More than a little. I'm just wondering if someone dropped him on his head as a child, or was he somehow actually born like that? My dog is more functional.
...and a Series Y.
3 hour battery life vs 5 on the PSP (i get 11 hours on my PSP 3000 with an after market battery) and 5 on the 3DS.
The PSP 3000 also had a tv out. Going from having it on the PSP, to not having it on the Vita, was a buzzkill for lots of people.
Their reasoning for removing the OLED panel, or the fact that it made it slimmer, and less expensive, is irrelivant to the point. The fact is they switched to a noticeably inferior display and most people were peev...
Bad battery life
Overpriced proprietary memory cards
No TV out
New model that removed the OLED panel, too early in its life cycle, forcing lots of people to buy used 1st gen units.
Most importantly - Lack of first party game support.
No such thing as "how they were intended". They run how the hardware limitations and/or dev time/cost allow them to run. Nothing wrong with being able to run older games at higher resolutions and frame rates.
Nobody could honestly believe that devs would have chosen to have games running at 540p/<20 fps if they had the option not to.
@RaidenBlack:
Visuals have never really been the issue with it. It is the underlying bugs and lack of features that is at issue, and none of that can be fixed. Notice there has never been ladder climbing animations in an Elder Scrolls game? The engine physically cannot do it. Creation has already been "overhauled" twice since Morrowind came out in 2002. It was called NetImmerse back then, it was rebadged to Gamebryo for Oblivion, and now they call it Creation. All...
Crap choices by a crap developer have nothing to do with the hardware.
Cheap excuse for lazy optimization. If they really cared about a "cinematic experience" it would be running at 24fps, not 30. Sony and MS really need to start enforcing mandatory 60fps or higher.
In Oblivion, you could cast magic regardless of what was equipped. Magic was set independant of weapons/shields and you would just put your offhand away during the casting animation.
I mean... yeah, i am a bit overweight, but a few thousand?
Since this is Deadly Premonition, the reviews actually work in reverse. The lower the number, the better the game.
Fable IV and i'll be happy.
Yeah, guy is a hack. The Samurai considered stealth and deception to be dishonorable. No Samurai would ever hide behind a bush or sneak up behind an opponent. Their entire system was based on open face-face combat. Not sure what back alley they found this "expert" in, but they should look harder next time.

Dude has no idea what he is talking about in regards to Ninja vs Samurai.

@olafu:
SFS was detailed in MS's original briefing in March, prior to Sony releasing the details on the PS5. Calling something "magical" just because you fail to understand it, is incredibly ignorant.

Only the Blu-ray disks were very much needed. Many games used the full 50GB dual layer disks.
-Kojima said one of the reasons MGS4 was not on the 360 was because it would take too many disks.
-Oblivion had to be heavily downgraded in several ways because of the 360s DVDs. There is actually a mod for it on PC called Open Cities, https://www.nexusmods.com/o... that restores the games cities ...
Big difference between expensive and overpriced. The PS3 was expensive, but it was far from overpriced. The cheapest standalone Blu-ray player at the time the PS3 launched was $1200 USD, and the PS3 was actually far superior at playing Blu-ray movies. Loading the disks in a fraction the time and having more playback features.
Their field day will be in a ditch. Read the court documents filed by Epic, and the specific violations that are being cited. This will bite Apple in the ass, hard.
I do not see how any intelligent person can be against what Epic is doing here. Apple has been operating like a faschist dictatorship for far to long. They are completely anti competitive. Epic is simply trying to create a fair playing field.
