Great, it will probably need 200+ mods just to make it playable.
"It's a box"... yep, kid has never even seen a CRT before, let alone an original Xbox.
Yanking the dead horses pud will not resurrect it.
How are the comments 11 hours older than the article?
FC2 all over again. That was one of the few things people hated about it. Looks like Ubi didn't learn.
I couldn't even use Win 11. Tried installing it yesterday, and it was taking 10-15 minutes for it to load after every login. The taskbar/start menu were locked and nothing could be run. Spent a couple hours troubleshooting to try to fix it, but ended up having to roll back to 10.
NMS+Borderlands+Warhammer 40k
Well, there goes plausible deniability. Issuing a takedown for 4 "project" codenames essentially confirms the leaks.
2 was changed from 1, 3 was changed from 2, 6 will be the 3rd time they have changed the formula of Far Cry.
Hopefully this lights a fire under Game Freaks ass.
Genshin is not an MMO. It is a single player game with a 4 player co-op function.
Where did they say they were keeping it? They said a while back that they were going to be removing it for security reasons. TCP/IP support requires parts of the server code to be included in the local game files, which can make it easier for hacks to be produced. This was not really a problem 20 years ago, but it is now.
I agree it is unfortunate that it is no longer going to be supported, but it is understandable, and afaik they never tried to hide it.
What are you talking about?
Confirmed digital only. Cannot buy used.
SteamOS is just a layer. The main OS is KDE Plasma Linux. You can also install Windows on it. Technically it is a PC.
IIRC, the people behind that one advertised it as an official collaboration between them and Nike. That along with the nature of the modifications, was likely to cause harm to Nikes reputation. That is what they were sued for, not the modification and sale itself.
First sale doctrine protects the rights of people to modify and resell their property, so long as they do not make it seem like the original manufacturer is officially involved in any way. Manufacturers do not ret...
Not really a secret. Been obvious since the start that the Deck would be an emulation dream machine.
Pixel density is more important than general resolution. 720p on a 7" display is 210 PPI. 1440p 27" is 109 PPI, 4k 30" is 147 PPI.
The screen is 60hz capable. 30fps was just the minimum target for the hardware. Meaning they expect every game currently on Steam to be able to hit atleast 30fps at 720p/medium settings.
The hardware is capable of rendering @ up to 4k/120fps, or 8k/60fps when connected to a TV or monitor.
1.6TF is just for the GPU. You have to factor the CPU also. 1.6TF + 400 Gflops = 2Tflops. RDNA2 has a ~67.5% performance increase over GCN. 2 + 67.5% = 3.35.
Battery life is 2 hours minimum, playing more demanding games. It can go as high as 8 hours. Valve has said most typical games will get around 4-5 hours (Portal 2 on medium settings gets around 6 hours). BotW on the base Switch gets 3 hours by comparison. On Switch Lite, it gets around 4 hours. On the new OLED Switch, ...
@roadkillers:
20-65 = 45 years. 45 x 12 months/year = 540 months x $100 = $54,000. It would take $1,850/month to get $1m in 45 years. Regardless, lots of people are living paycheck to paycheck, making minimum wage. They do not have $100/month to save.
