Was talking generally, not necessarily for part 2. Those are 2 things from the original that imo need to return at some point. Open world in part 2, Highwind in part 3.
Just keep the open overworld and controllable Highwind, and i'll be happy.
Sorry, i worded that badly. I meant most people who have played Morrowind, have not played Daggerfall. Morrowind, as the article says, is the first "modern" TES game. Very few people have played the older ones.

To be fair, Morrowind was technically a massive downgrade from Daggerfall also. Probably a bigger downgrade than Oblivion was compared to Morrowind, or even Skyrim compared to Oblivion. Every TES since Daggerfall has been a downgrade from the prior one, Morrowind was just the first TES game for 99.9% of people, so most people never noticed.
64bit 4k upgrade of Oblivion with OBGE+OCR+Qarls, on PS5/XSX and call it a day.
There are similar mods available for Morrowind they could use for an official rerelease also, but i can't remember the names atm. Neither would take much effort.
Rough estimate. Average game length 8 hours, playing 12 hours per day, every day... 45 years.
Not new. It has been on PC and mobile for near a decade.

Shipped, not sold. Anyone can ship any amount of any product, it means nothing. Not even news worthy.
Oblviion had Acrobatics. Skyrim removed it.
"Black Desert Online turned five this month. Since launching in 2014" Your math is way off.
It is a single player game in the Black Desert universe. There is an optional co-op style multiplayer, but it is primarily single player.
No wonder Nintendo is so against fan creations, Nintendo official quality is so low these days, they cannot stand being shown up by individual hobby programmers. This looks 100x better than the actual remake.
@JEECE:
There is no logic in using a controller in a way that provides no benefit. Even if you had 3 hands, you would not benefit from it.
The controller is designed that way so that the thumb is inline with whichever control the game uses, rather than having to push the thumb off to the side.
@Chocoburger:
Never knew about those games. It still does not use all 3 sections though. No game required you to move your gri...
It was designed for normal people. Too many people just wrongly assume you should be able to hold both the D-Pad and analog at the same time. Some games use the D-Pad, some use the analog, AFAIK none use both. It was made to be comfortable regardless of which one you end up using (having the thumb inline with either control). It was not intended for both to be used at the same time, therfore technically there is nothing wrong with the design.
Unfortunately it is currently fully Arcade exclusive.
Same guy that made Lost Oddysey. Maybe he forgot that he already did that plot?
Kick sin ftw.
Shared loot creates rarity/scarcity. Giving everyone their own loot would lead to substantially higher numbers of rare items in circlulation, which would not work well with D2s trade based economy.
The original was split across multiple disks also. All they really need to do is have save loading from each previous game, so you can continue from where you left off, rather than having them as completely independent games.
