Give it time. It gets much harder at higher ranks. There is also more to the combat mechanics than what you see right away. The first 16 Adventure ranks are basically just the tutorial.
Cool. This game is no longer on my to buy list.
Most of the time it is easy, but it is not consistant. Certain quests and dungeons are just stupid. There is one side quest that involves fighting 5 Rune Guards at once inside a hidden temple, while having to protect a monument thing from them. The level req on it is like 25 iirc, my entire party of 4 was level 40, with all level 40, T3 weapons. Tried 5 times before giving up, every time they destroyed the monument before i could even get the 2nd guard down to half health, and i was struggeli...
Game is way too difficult. Level reqs in dungeons and certain quests are way off, especially on time trials.
Star Citizen has probably spent the most on actual game development at this point. Most other games that claim really high "development" costs, spent 70%+ on marketing.
Pedantic is basically just saying to make a Final Fantasy game that feels and plays like KH. If all that stuff is changed then Disney would not own it. They would have no say in the matter.
Just looked at the case back, it specifies that the remake was directed by Hideo Kojima. As for being "for kids", TS was far more violent and gory than the original. The hallway scene with Grey Fox was one of the most brutal scenes in video game history.
I keep hearing people rag on the game but in all these years since its release, have yet to see one person actually explain why it is worse than the original. Always just "it sucks" "its an insult ...

Pot, meet kettle.
Didnd't necessarily mean comparable in regards to monetary value, more just in the amount of hype it would bring for gamers. The big takeaway from Zenimax is Elder Scrolls and Fallout, i think alot of gamers would agree having Final Fantasy or Metal Gear fully PS exclusive would mostly balance it out. Same for GTA.
@Bruh:
Doesn't matter how fast the SSD is when it still has to read data from a 6x BD-R drive. @ 27MB/s it will take roughly an hour to install a 100GB game.
Take Two, Squeenix, or Konami would be comparable, but i'm not sure if Sony could afford any of them, or if they are even available to be bought out.
This is just a software based aproximation. It is not the same as true hardware based RT. Killzone 2 on the PS3 actually had a very limited implementation of RT.
As expected.
Where did you get 5x from?
PS5 = 5.5GB/s raw, 9GB/s compressed.
SX = 2.4GB/s raw, 4.8GB/s compressed.
That is ~56% slower raw, and ~47% slower compressed.
Just went and rechecked the official info from Sony, i was misremembering some details. Their dedicated I/O block has similar processing requirements to a single Zen 2 core, but does not actually use a Zen 2 core. It does still use a standalone decompression unit inbetween the Ram and GPU though, unlike Nvidia I/O. The first part of my previous statement still holds. There is actually a new NVME from Sabrent that just released and is pushing 7GB/s raw reads. So we will have 14GB/s compressed ...
Actually, it is superior. With current PCI-E 4.0 NVMEs @ ~5GB/s raw, DX12 Ultimates Directstorage will provide 10GB/s compressed, which is higher than the PS5s 9GB/s. Sony has also said that their I/O will still require a single CPU core to transfer data between the system Ram and GPU, while Nvidia I/O completely bypasses the CPU, allowing the GPU to access system Ram directly. Nvidia has stated this makes it up to 100x faster (lower latency) vs having the CPU handle the transfer.
@JackBNimble:
State and Federal laws both supercede corporate policy. Large companies frequently include terms and conditions that violate the law, counting on the fact that the US government very rarely actually enforces its own laws against them. The only way anything can typically be done about it is through an individual or another large corporation taking them to court. Several of Apples terms are illegal under both state and federal law. Once this hits a high level co...
@RazzerRedux:
I guess i was mistaken. Never played Fortnite so not sure how they run things, but i assumed it was like any other online multiplayer game. Typically you cannot connect to the servers if you do not have the lastest update. I guess they are running seperate servers for older versions of the game, atleast for some of the more recent versions. They obviously won't be able to maintain it forever though. At some point they will have to start discontinuing the s...
There is a content update coming out for the game in a few days. Once that releases the game will no longer be playable on iOS, since they will not be able to update.
This has nothing to do with PS5 or SX specifically. Their data is seriously flawed. It is just based on numbers of visits to the Playstation and Xbox websites.
