agreed, this is definitely a commercial for the casuals. i've been following the game and all the aspects of it, so when i saw the commercial i was like what? they basically said nothing about the combat system! but yeah, for people who will go excited because it's two franchises clashing, this commercial does the trick.

this is a surprisingly good list. the only one i'd disagree with is Metal Gear Solid, even though it's a stellar franchise. i just think the way it's presented is more along the lines of film, where you're viewing events happening. i get hooked on the games, but i wouldn't say i'm immersed like i am in Bioshock or Amnesia.
i do think the Half-Life games deserve to be on there.
what does Dark Souls have to do with Skyrim being extremely buggy and poorly designed? you're the one who needs to grow up.
the sad part is that those same people are probably hypocritical and would like any lesbian sex scenes in the game.

yeah, it's essentially a PC that will be outdated when it hits the market. in addition to everything T900 pointed out.
i don't mind linearity in certain games, but the gameplay is just horrible in Asura's Wrath.
i still find it surprising how they could skip over one of the easiest eras to be an assassin--the ninjas in the shogun era. that would have been really awesome to have a true ninja stealth game with assassin's creed's story.
i can respect that. i wish i had the same strength as you to boycott Mass Effect 3, but i just can't. lol.
