like the top comment said on youtube itself, it'd be nice if we had more than a super-up-close picture of some monster breathing. it would be more impressive if we could see scenery and full character shots.
i couldn't have said it any better myself, i agree with you 100%.
#8: There is a “best” gaming platform.
this one is the most truthful as far as being a myth. you can argue games all you want, hardware all you want, online or other features all you want, but it all boils down to preference, and what you want most out of a console.
^^^yeah, new ideas like Move, LBP Karting, the All-stars brawler, trophies, the Trials game....
oh, wait.
lol. well, so much for originality.
Diablo 3 says high. good luck to Starhawk standing a chance against that monster. lol.
i'm not sold at all now that i've read more of the details. third person only, no choice to switch to first person, and no real time action combat like the Elder Scrolls games. they could have turned the MMO world upside down with this game, but instead, they're going the traditional route, not taking any chances.
*sigh* oh well.
Guild Wars 2, here i come!
the readiness of my body cannot be overstated.
the menu system only sucks if you're using a controller. it works quite well for a mouse and keyboard.
yes, it's harder than Demon's Souls, but if you've finished DeS, then you'll definitely be able to finish DaS too.
the best tip i can give is to not go into DaS cocky just because you've beaten the first game. be patient, build a strong character, play smart, and you'll get through DaS without TOO many headaches. lol.
"All I'm told is that the rest of the game may pan out very differently from what I'm seeing here. The only nugget he lets slip: 'There's more than one mechanic in the game, but they feed of same central idea of spatial exploration.'"
that's good to know. it definitely looks like a unique experience, but even unique experiences can get old if there's no variety in them. so hopefully they have some interesting mechanics throughout that kee...
Snake better be in the game, he helped build the Playstation brand to what it is today. idc if he was in SSB or not; unless there's some sort of contractual thing that explicitly forbids Sony to use Snake from MGS, then they better get him in there.
the game looks really unique, creative, and thought-provoking from an intellectual standpoint, but let's face it--if all you're doing is pressing a single button over and over to throw paint, it's going to get old within the first 10 minutes.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder >>>>> Deathwing's punk ass.
and here's why i shouldn't be:
i have a PC that will likely put the specs of next-gen consoles to shame. and i can upgrade it whenever i want/need to.
mfw PC version still $20
:'(
i don't think games in general are art, but games CAN be art. the "can be" applies to games like Flower, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus...games like those (and i use the term "game" loosely in the case of the former two since they're more like experiences) aren't just about winning or losing, they're about speaking to you on different levels than a normal game does. they're about trying to convey something, trying to touch you in a certain emotional wa...
"Why do people not read the books in the games"
oh, idk....maybe because if i want to read a book, then i'll turn the game off and read one? if i put a game in, i want to PLAY it.
i wish people would get off this this kick about when the Skyrim DLC is coming and why it's not here yet. this has nothing to do with whether "prolonging it is justified," or how long it's been in production, etc, or the public perception if they release it "early."
the first real expansion (not counting the horse armor DLC) for Oblivion was released eight MONTHS after Oblivion, and that was before the DLC fiasco had gotten big in the industry.
@Ravenor
trust me, you're not alone. we both know Sony got heavy inspiration from Nintendo this gen. it's not a big deal, though--people follow what's successful. is the Sony Battle Royal a SSB clone? hell yes, it is. there's flat out no denying it. but does that mean it won't be fun? nope, of course it's going to be fun.
omg......YES!!!!!!!!!!!
