the option shouldn't even be there. if Acolyte mode is too hard for someone, then they need to find a different series to play. Ninja Gaiden should NOT cater to people who aren't good enough. period.
would it turn some people off if the difficulty was too hard? sure. but did Ninja Gaiden Black's difficulty stop it from being one of the greatest action games ever made? no.
*throws money at the computer screen*
take it and just give me the game!!!
anything related to Valve automatically gains a 64% awesomeness boost.
automatic guard? so this is what Ninja Gaiden has turned into?
and i thought Ninja Gaiden 3 was dumbed down......
while i wouldn't call them clowns, i do agree with you. i rarely, and i mean RARELY, ever buy games on their release date anymore, just because they're not worth it to me. if developers want my full $60, then they need to make a game that makes me want to pay that much for it.
otherwise, i'll keep buying games used or after price drops, and i'll keep taking advantage of Steam's awesome sales.
"what a f#$ed up logic you have. by your logic, you don't have to buy anything unless its handed for you for free !"
that makes absolutely no sense. how did you get that idea from him wanting to save some money?
why are so many people reviewing this game? it's like they want to "me too" review a game they already know is going to be horrible.
if you want to forget you played the game, then you shouldn't have played it in the first place.
i agree. completely unnecessary multiplayer. they could have spent that time and resources on making the single player even bigger and better. and if it's already as good as it can get, then work on more DLC. or start working on a new game, whatever. i wish devs would get it through their heads that not every game needs multiplayer.
inb4 if you don't like it then don't play it, which is beside the point.
unfortunately, RE6 will sell millions total across all platforms, and Capcom will continue thinking they're doing things right with the series.
the trophies seem like they'll be the only selling point of the game. i got the God of War Collection, and the supposed "HD" isn't much different than the original unless you're doing some Lens of Truth BS.
....and out came PSN.
aside from the obviously false headline, the combat does look very good and very fun, and what little i experienced in the demo was enjoyable. in comparison to Dark Souls, however....i'd say Dark Souls is like Killzone 2 and KoA is like MW2--both styles are good, but KZ2 is weightier and more visceral, while MW2 is light and arcady. i guess it would ultimately boil down to which you prefer, but i think the more weighty, realistic approach of Dark Souls (even though the weight and slowness...
"real gamers?" you do realize games are ultimately played because they're entertaining, right? a kid playing Mario on a 3DS is no less "real" than somebody playing Starcraft on a high end PC or Dark Souls on the PS3 or 360. all of them are playing games and having fun.
wow. i'm not even in the UK, but that makes me want to go to amazon.co.uk right now and pre-order that. lol.
i should slap myself for forgetting SotC. what an amazing world!!
i think Assassin's Creed 1 or 2 deserves a mention on this. they're beautifully realized worlds. i even asked someone who's been to Italy once to come check out this building in AC2, and she recognized it instantly.
i would personally put FFIV and FFVI over FFVII, but i can still respect that. VII is definitely a classic, no question, and the best one since FF went to Playstation imo.
@fluffy
because these delusional kids act like Final Fantasy started and ended on the Playstation.
horrible list. it's sad that people seem to think Final Fantasy's best years were on the PS1 and PS2. sorry, but the NES and especially SNES FF games blow them out of the water. i don't care how popular the PS ones are.
and don't even get me start on Chrono Trigger, which is better than any FF game you can name.
i got chills multiple times while watching that. it was more epic than everything in Oblivion and Skyrim combined.
