the fact that 3/5 of the top stories on n4g right now are "top list" stories is flippin annoying.
this is an amazing game and one of the best i've played this generation. nice to see more people are going to have the chance to play it.
what the hell does Ninja Gaiden have to do with Devil May Cry?
Team Ninja =/= Ninja Theory
seriously, the shit that passes for news and "journalism" these days...
dsogaming is becoming one of my favorite sites on n4g. they always have interesting and/or informative news.
and this game looks like it could be good. i loved Amnesia and i'm always down to play a true horror game.
geniusgamerdoc, i don't think you realize what broken means when it comes to video games. lol.
good to see The Witcher 2 on there.
true, but the NES stands for "Nintendo Entertainment System," yet it's a video game console. people in marketing can call the 360 and PS3 w/e they like in order to appeal to more people and sell more consoles, but the bottom line is that they're gaming machines. they just have the ability to do other stuff too. lol. if people want to use them in other ways, that's great, and they're more than welcome to.
you read my mind about Heavenly Sword. i wouldn't say the gameplay was bad, but it was very underwhelming. the story, setting, characters and graphics, however, made the game very memorable for me.
what we want to see is more of the original Ninja Gaiden, with a sprinkling in of Ninja Gaiden 2. or, to put it more bluntly, what the series was like before Hayashi got hold of it.
it's funny, because as much as gamers (including myself sometimes) talk about games being dumbed down this gen, they're still very complex to a non-gamer, like in your situation. even something like Ninja Gaiden 3, which was incredibly simplified to reach a wider audience, would still look like rocket science to a non-gamer.
i really recommend people read this article. the title is kinda misleading, because it's a take on the overall state of journalism in the gaming industry. it's very insightful.
wait, so you think a story is important in NG?
let me put this in all caps so you understand what i mean:
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
i agree, i don't think The Dark Tower could have ended any better.
also, the problem with this article's line of reasoning isn't that the ME3 ending is controversial or not; controversy is fine a lot of the time. some people loved the DT and Lost endings, some hated it. some thought they were ok.
but can you really tell me anybody who loved the ME3 ending, who thought it was very well written or perfectly executed? i haven't seen it. there ar...
the Zune Video Marketplace is my #1 place to go for renting movies.
@morgenfell
interesting point, bubbles
10 hours to download a game? i can download a full length HD game off Steam in an hour or two, and i just have normal broadband internet.
Ninja Gaiden Black is arguably the best action game ever, but it is nowhere near as violent and bloody as Ninja Gaiden 2.
i don't agree with Uncharted. as far as gameplay goes, the game took a simple formula and made it work fine. if you personally don't like it, then that's your opinion (which you're entitled to), but i can't see a single thing frustrating about it. Ninja Gaiden 2? sure, that's frustrating. Uncharted? i don't see it.
i'm playing Super Scribblenauts on my DSi right now, and it's tons of fun.
"In the Hitman game series and the Hitman novel, 47 is a genetically-enhanced clone and the culmination of decades of secret research into gene augmentation. His creation was funded by a cabal of bald criminal masterminds who donated their own DNA to the project."
so yeah, i'll take 47 any day. Bond is cooler, but 47 was bred to be an efficient killer.
