agreed on both parts, but especially on the omission of Zelda.
Ryu Hayabusa would kick Kratos' ass.
bet that shit.
no, the real problem is that articles like these keep springing up.
we don't care what "journalist" #918,404 has to say about Mass Effect 3's ending.
that was incredible.
that example you gave is a horrible one, but i'm not surprised based on the intelligence level (or lack thereof) of the rest of your post.
a game like that has no depth in the gameplay, no real progression (other than speed), no intricate challenge, and no variety. it's not just that the graphics suck in that, but the gameplay would be boring and stale for anyone who didn't grow up playing it.
i can play NES, SNES, Gensis, etc all day if the game...
agreed. while Mass Effect may not be perfect, and the ending is meh, to say it's not worth playing is crazy. unless someone is the type of gamer who only likes one specific genre or something.
nothing needs to be next. MGS4 ended on a fine note and wrapped up pretty much everything that needed to be wrapped up.
if they absolutely have to put something out, though, then i'd like a prequel with young Solid Snake from the pre-MGS days.
Ninja Gaiden is a great example, those missions added a lot of replay value. i'd also include Oblivion's Shivering Isles, because that almost felt like i was getting a whole new TESIV game for a fraction of the price.
sad to say i still haven't played this game, even though i absolutely loved the first two and platinum'd both of them. maybe i'll get it when the GotY edition comes out.
i'm playing through this game for the second time since buying it on Steam, and i absolutely love it!!! it also has one of my favorite soundtracks ever. check youtube for the theme to Valenstein Castle and you'll see what i mean.
i hope more Ys games come to Steam!
i'm in the same boat as you. i want to like the game based on the style and setting, but i can't trust Capcom, especially when it's a game like this, and the footage of the game that i've seen always leaves me with mixed feelings.
also, i don't like the fact that (as far as we know) it's not coming out on PC as well. from the trailers and gameplay i've seen, i get the feeling this game is going to have some noticeable framerate drops.
how is this game on PC? i noticed that it has lower scores for it. is it a bad port or something? just curious, cause i'd prefer getting the PC version, but not if the console versions are a lot better.
the first time i played through Killzone 2 on Elite, it took me forever to get past Radec. the second time i played through on Elite, though, i kicked his ass within a couple tries. lol.
i really hope this comes to the Wii U eventually.
there's really nothing to clarify if all he did was say that he loves the franchise anyways. he didn't take back what he said about the poor writing. lol.
same here!
Ys!
", I hope it would move away from it's GOW gameplay since ALL OF THE STRONGEST foes have been taken care of in GOW3"
actually, i would hope they'd move away from the gameplay since it's all pretty much button mashing and QTEs. lol. and yes, i've played all the GoW games, and yes, they're awesome, but the combat system is super shallow.
is that confirmed about no graphics options? seriously, are they trying to sell this game to PC gamers at all? GFWL, no mods, and now you can't even customize the graphics?
i'm sorry but that "they're a small company, they can't do everything, this is their first time on PC with the Souls series, at least PC gamers can play it".....all that shit doesn't fly. this is looking like it's going to be a shitty port. if From Software can't do a...
not only do i agree with 4chan on this stance, but i'm not a fan of pirating games in general. no matter how much you hate a developer's or publisher's practices, no matter the reason, you're still stealing something that took millions and millions of dollars, as well as a bunch of time and effort, to make.
for example, i'd love to play Battlefield 3, it's itching at me to play it, but i'm not dealing with Origin, period. and on top of that, i can...
