Bah who gives a shit about what 'tat' newspapers such as the the Mirror have to say. I wouldn't wipe my ass with it.

I'm surprised Rockstar haven't already sued them for attempting to hack Niko Belic's phone.

There wasn't that much hype surrounding Resistance FOM, and it turned out to be a great. Hell its still one of my favourite games this gen!

I know that people will disagree with me but I thought that L.A Noir was incredibly disappointing. After years of anticipation and waiting, it turned out to be bland & quite boring.

Are you aware that a service called PSN exists, which allows you to download games, without the need for importation or physical media?

It doesn't look half-bad for a $20 PSN & XBLA title!

'Just because it has good graphics? Graphics don't make a good game and never will'

This isn't Crytek that we are talking about it. This is ID (aka the granddaddy the Fps genre). They aren't just all about the graphics, they're games actually play great as well.

Max Payne; 2001.

I was actually a bigger fan of Midway's Psi-Ops.

Either way both games were great fun and definitely deserve some love (and possibly a sequel!)

The quality of Uncharted's scripting is streets ahead of Gears.

Romance is an extremely difficult subject matter for video games to deal with, and yet Uncharted 2 Drake's relationship with Elena is believable, even in the midst of exploding helicopters & collapsing cities.

While in comparison, who really gave a damn about Dom's tacked on search his wife, Maria? The game just doesn't carry the same emotional punch, because you don't fe...

So Enzo & Altair are just memories within a memory.

Sounds quite Inception-esque!

I'm neither a racist nor intolerant.

I have Muslim friends and I respect their religious beliefs & traditions, but I also think that considering that UAE consider themselves as a modern liberal Muslin society, some of the countries laws pretty damn out of touch, and encroach on peoples civil liberties, rather than than allowing citizens to make up their own minds on whether they want to drink alcohol or simply kiss in public.

Hey I live in a western s...

The French Revolution isn't that much of a drastic change from Renaissance Italy. I'd prefer for it to be set before & during World War 1.

Maybe they should set it up so that Franz Ferdinand was actually a Templar, and the player is tasked with assassinating him and from there you progress to killing Templars (The Russian Tsar ect.) across war-torn Europe.

And maybe they should leave it 2 or 3 years till the next generation of consoles are releas...

After the NES & SNES, people said that the big N were unbeatable in the home console market....

Then Sony came from out of the blue with the Playstation brand and outsold the N64 3/1 and the PS2 went on to beat the Gamecube 8/1 in sales.

Just because the PSP didn't outsell the DS, doesn't mean that the Vita will follow in it's footsteps. e.g just look at Microsoft's first attempt with the original Xbox and then look at the 360. Companies l...

Well the World Cup has already started. It would have been surprising if they had managed to roll d game out in Europe with around 12 hours notice!

The author also forgot to mention that Dead Island is in direct competition with a far superior FPS RPG; Deus Ex HR.

Dead Island is a slightly above-average game from a mediocore developer, that only received atention because of a CG trailer that wasn't even created by Techland....(it was actually outsourced to a digital media company named Deep Silver in Scotland).

Techland's track record speaks for itself. Quite poorly.

I had the feeling that Resistance 3 was going to be very mediocre. But thankfully I was wrong!

Well done Insomniac in restoring my faith in the series after R2.

@BrightFalls76

I had saved both disks onto my HDD like I had done with Forza 3 (my only other multi disk game). However unlike Forza 3 (the way multiple disks should be done) and unbeknownst to me, it still asked for the 2nd disk even though the entire 2nd disk was saved onto my HDD.

I wasn't as much forgetful but more like complacent, because I thought developers would take a leaf out of Forza's book. I was wrong.

And yes multiple di...

Multiple disks isn't as a big an issue as some people make it out to be, but it still can be a bit of a pain.

I remember I bought Dead Space 2 for my 360 when I was at home for mid-term break. After starting my play through, I then lugged my 360 (with Dead Space 2 disk 1 in the console) back to college when break was over, but I had accidentally left Disk 2 behind in the box at home.

Even though I had installed both disks on my HDD, I still had to insert ...
