& now Uncharted 3 are the only retail games ever to have scored perfect 10's on IGN since it was founded in 1996.
They hardly throw them out.
Back in 2006, the 360 & PS3 graphic cards were pretty high end.
So I don't think that it is unreasonable to think that consoles, that are not due for release for at least another 18 months, will be capable of handling the most taxing of next-gen games (e.g Battlefield 3).
And Sony & MS will put an even greater emphasis on graphics this gen than even the last. Because graphics sell games, and games sell consoles.
Its unfortunate that a rare good movie tie-in, is going to get lost among the hype for the blockbusters this season....
You could say the same for most publishers though.
For example if the GTA & Bioshock franchises were taken away from 2K Publishing then they would seriously struggle.
Manhunt 1 & 2 is pretty much Dexter on steroids...
Looks decent, but I don't think that Telltale's Back to the Future graphics engine is up to scratch to meet the atmosphere required for a game like Jurassic Park.
The dinosaurs look good, but the human characters look last gen....

The Tintin game from Ubisoft looks pretty good as well. It has the backing Peter Jackson (who himself is an avid gamer) and has all the quirky art styling of the Tintin books.
It would be a bit of a shame if a rare, potentially good film tie-in got lost among the blockbusters.

It seems that the PS3/360 fanboyism has been overtaken by BF/COD fanboyism over the last few months.
It will be interesting to see the flames being fanned over the next few weeks.
I've personally lost interest in military-style FPSs over the last year, the only FPS holding my interest at the moment is Bioshock Infinite. It helps that 2K aren't yapping about it every 5 minutes.

What a joke. Rocksteady & WB Interactive should be ashamed of themselves, that after putting in so much effort crafting such a great game, to then make such ridiculous blunders. If I were paying premium for my copy, then I'd expect a premium service...
I don't know why Playstation don't give gamers the option to save our games onto our Hdds & play the game while the disk is in the drive.
If the 360 can do it successfully, I don't know why PS3 owners are restricted to playing the game off the Blu-ray.
It puts alot less strain on the drives laser, improves loading times and it quietens down the console during gameplay.

They shouldn't even be commenting about PS3 architecture this far into this gen.
Just don't try and pass off 360 as PS3 gameplay footage & fool us into buying a potentially inferior console version.
Bethesda own iD now, so take a leaf out of their book, and release an console version that looks & performs great on both platforms. And actually show us PS3 gameplay prior to release, à la Rage.

It's 3-4 hours of content that ties closely to the main storyline. Actually people are advised to DL the content before you start a new game, because the Catwoman missions are important at the opening segments.
And see my post below, there is plenty of people who don't have the online option, and are forced to miss out on that 10% whether they buy it new or used.
There is plenty of areas in Europe where there is still poor broadband infrastructures. So if I can't connect my console online, and I buy the game brand new on day one, I still can't access the single player content that I paid for.
I'm not talking about Albania by the way, I have a mate in Scotland who still hasn't got a decent broadband provider in his area.

I'm not so much complaining about Naughty Dog, but more so, about their excuses justifying the implementation of Online Passes.
Instead of twisting the truth to us, essentially saying that the game will not be profitable without Online Passes. Why not just say it was a publisher's decision & out of the studio's hands.
I will be buying Uncharted 3 new regardless. But I still don't like these lame excuses....
I'm surprised that Haze isn't in this list.
It had a lot of potential & an interesting premise, and should have been a far better game.
Free Radical was bought over by Crytek, and renamed the company Crytek UK. So now they own the IP and have access to the Cryengine 3 (which would suit the jungle environment & the Nectar abilities down to the ground!)
Bring on Haze 2 & Timesplitters 4!
