Maybe in his free time.
There is definitely some questionable choices in Hooked Gamers top 10.
Games such as Dragon Age Origins & The Witcher Enchanced Edition are great games in their own rights. But in all honesty they should not be included in the top 10 games of the decade.
Not one GTA, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Zelda, God of War or Uncharted game in the top 10 either. Really?
5 out of the 10 were RPG's as well...
...
I have been a big fan of the Deus Ex series ever since the first game came out, way back in 2000.
However the series is no where near as recognisable to a younger generation of gamers, as lets say the Gears of Wars, Call of Duties, Uncharteds ect of the world.
When up against the other multi-platform megasellers being released this year (games such Battlefield, Skyrim & Modern Warfare 3), I think it's fair to consider Deus Ex HR a 'sleeper'...
As a proud owner of the awesome Galaxy S2.
I don't think Sony couldn have gotten a better manufacturer of mobile hardware.
This game is now back on my radar! However I just hope Edios didn't let the console versions fall by the wayside, in a bid to solely please PC gamers.
Looks like it is going to hit the shelves in the calm before the 'Holiday storm' of blockbusters. And after a Summer of disappointing gaming duds, this could turn out to be this year's sleeper hit!
Even though I loved Deus Ex 1,
I had the impression that Human Revolution was just going to a cheap cash-in on the the series name.
However after this review, this game is back on my radar! However I'm unsure as to how the console versions will fare. Because the game seams to be more geared towards PC gamers.
Looks like we'll have to just wait & see.....

Still waiting for Black Mesa Source to finally play through Half Life again....
I read the article and I'm agreeing with you.
I'm reading The Times at the moment and it has an article trying to prove a 'direct link' that playing WOW eventualy leads a person down the path of mass murder!?!
Last time I checked murder & mental health issues existed before video games.....
Did Jack the Ripper, Ted Bundy or Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bomber) use video games as training aids?
Psychos will be psychos.
Using video games as a scapegoat, is a tactic for the media to sell papers.
I'm buying both RWC 2011 (for the international teams) & Rugby Challenge (for the Heineken Cup) day 1!
4 years of waiting and rugby fans are getting 2 games within a few weeks of each other!
And Colm Meaney for Sully!
Gwyneth, if Moses signs up to n4g, then you know he's addicted!
Uncharted 3 possibly?
Naughty Dog have stated they have put in a lot of effort into making the game's 3D really add to the cinematic depth of it.
Resistance 3 may also be a step forward in 3D in gaming, the large scale bosses have potential to stand out on the owners of 3DTV sets.
Considering Goldeneye worked pretty well with the Wii remote. I hope the devs have some sense and add some Move support, for the PS3 version.
Yeah having destructible environments would be awesome.
Imagine walking down an empty corridor, to only have a brute smash through the walls, totally unscripted...
Or being able to use a Ripper to improvise mid-battle and slice holes in the hull to suck out any Necros in the room
Maybe the next Dead Space game should be a spin-off title or a prequel on the Vita or 3DS, and then after that EA should leave the next proper sequel till next gen of consoles roll out.
It would give the series some breathing space (no pun intended) and give the devs time to really blow us away with next gen, shit-your-pants, ultra realistic graphics!
Imagine playing the next game with BF3-esque graphics (EA own the rights to Frostbite 2 after all) on Sony...
Timeshift is an example of B-movie in gaming!
Great brainless fun, made on a budget & doesn't take itself too seriously!
Replace 'will' with 'could'.
It's obviously a great game, but calling it GOTY after only 3 reviews (and it's still nearly a month away until it hits retail) is a bit premature.
We'll just have to wait and see.
