Yeah, it's a bummer. I'd have liked getting my game tax free on top of the deal.
8GB USB flash drives are dirt cheap and 16GB drives are closer to standard. Faster Internet packages are less expensive in general, and I'm talking about unlimited data packages. Huge would be closer to the 20-50 gb mark. Even my middling connection can download 7 gb in about a half hour.
At one time, yeah, 7GB was huge. Times have changed, though. Even the short Judgment demo was twice the size of this patch.
I've heard great things about his AI, too.
7 GB isn't huge in this day and age. Considering the considerable difference between the Master and Gold versions, we were looking at a much larger day 1 patch than the one we're getting now.
"This newest trial version bears the weighty-sounding title of Final Fantasy XV Judgement Disc, and is billed as containing a large chunk of the actual game’s opening portion."
"Unfortunately, even though I haven’t run into a single glitch in 90 minutes of playing the demo, many people who downloaded the trial version have found it tastes like bugs."
The author was very specific. This is an article about the Judgment Disc.
This guy's already admitted that he wants the game to flop. He's currently freaking out because it's shaping up.
Seriously, look it up. Judgment Disc's bugs were well known and well documented by the time this article was published, and Tabata has addressed the issues. This isn't an opinion. All that happened.
I hope I'll never be as bitter or as out of touch as you.
Old news that's been addressed to death. Even tabata has commented on the bugs.
This guy gets it.

Here is Sean Murray telling actual lies.

@Goldby
Seconded. The only notably bad performances were Libertus and Crowe. The big names all did well and didn't feel like they were phoning in their performances, and Darin De Paul was fantastic as Ardyn.
lol
The comparison video is more entertaining than the whole franchise.

So Square's planning to block access to the game by dismissing the notion of blocking access to the game? Top notch logic guys.

Other than a forum post by a moderator who said blocking early players would be hard, there doesn't seem to be any confirmation that Square's planning on doing anything about it.
I'd like to know too. The Xbox One version is around 40gb, but the PS4 version, even OG, has better visuals.
Sadly, the interactive tutorial killed the game manual. I don't think I've bought a single PS4 game that had one that was longer than four pages, three of which were warnings and legal documentation.
Kou Shibusawa could be the guy to replace the Souls series. He's notably a die hard fan of Bloodborne, and Miyazaki is tired of making Souls games.
Shibusawa's been in the business for decades now, so this particular Soulslike is in good hands.
