The fact that you get to watch this game succeed before your bitter eyes makes me love XV even more.
Somebody's mad.
Not necessarily, Foxtrot. I know of at least two users here who have openly admitted that they want this game to fail.
After MGSV's ending I wanted a game with a real sense of closure. Witcher 3 provided this, and I'm glad XV seems to have also come through in this regard.
It really did. I'm a little upset about it to this day.
There was a time several years ago when I was virtually addicted to Cracked. The articles were generally funny, especially Seanbaby's, and they didn't bother making statements or telling you what you should or shouldn't like, opting instead to entertain and maybe teach a little history. Closest thing to serious it got was David Wong using Glengarry Glen Ross to teach people how to be more confident, and it was great.
Then something awful happened in their rank...
Doesn't help that he took a whole point off for the soundtrack.
I have no idea how he'd consider that an exceptionally low point; the soundtrack is the best it's been in a long time. Uematsu would be proud.
There's no good reason to disagree with that. This team has jumped nearly every hurdle. It's only logical that they've learned a lot from producing this game, and that experience would naturally bolster future Square projects.
It really is baffling, isn't it? He'll even resort to sending PMs calling you a horrible person for liking what he doesn't like, then call you a coward for blocking his insults. I haven't been here incredibly long, but it feels like it's his life's mission to dump on this game and its fans at every single opportunity.
It just feels unhealthy, and I kinda feel sorry for the guy.
Shimomura isn't Uematsu, but all things considered she came closer than anybody else. The music definitely isn't the con this review is making it out to be, and for that very few who don't or won't like it, there are loads of Uematsu tracks from the previous FF games that are available in game.
If the phenomenal soundtrack was one of the only problems, then I made the right decision.
Replacing T.J. pretty much ruined the whole "#franksback" thing they were going for.
Didn't help that Frank basically turned into Michael De Santa.
Even worse was the removal of the creative bosses in lieu of generic randomly generated gang leaders.
Psychopaths are what kept me playing DR1.
The generic maniacs replacing the psychopaths is the real tragedy.
You'll have made enough in the time it would take for the PC version to come out to get both.
That's my plan. Buy the game now, and then eventually get the PC version for the next playthrough.
Exactly why I quit League of Legends.
Oh God no. Space Engine is better, looks better, has just as much to do, and it's free.
Oh, and it actually has orbital patterns.
They're advertising the soundtrack, not the game. They could've been a little more upfront about that though.
@ninsigma Ignore this guy. He's platinum triggered over this game and has been bashing it against logic for weeks now. He's obsessed.
You can't spam quen. That alone makes the combat better.
EDIT: Jeez, guys it was a harmless jab at how fast the sign cooldowns were. I loved Witcher 3, easy as it was.
