That 30th anniversary collection is what I'm really looking forward to.
The first nine games on one disc. I'd mail them my money right now if I knew I'd get it sooner.
I honestly didn't have a problem with chapter 13. The black hole spell made it easy, and dodging the axemen wasn't a chore either. I think I only hid once, to see what it was like.
I breezed through the least interesting section of chapter 13 in like ten minutes. That said I'm glad they're giving it an overhaul.
The main cast was also fantastic and very well realized. One chapter in particular marked a great tonal shift that really stuck with me...
Are you kidding me? MGSV getting cut off during development and forced to release with no possibility of a story update that the director intended to include was unfair.
The fact that this team and its producers actually give enough of a damn to still address and correct issues, while also providing more story and features for free, is not a bad thing at all. I'm looking forward to more from a game I already really enjoy.
Hit the nail firmly on the head, D0ffy.
The story is fantastic, and the puzzles are creative. The only issue for me were some camera issues and framerate stuttering that ultimately didn't bother me (I played through SotC on the PS2, which can prepare you for any framerate.)
I'd say it's better than Ico, almost on par with SotC, and definitely a new experience overall. I loved it.
Deadly Premonition would be the most extreme example of this, too. Of course TLG is of much higher quality than DP, but both titles have their own unique feels that I crave in video games.
People just seem to really want a blunder of the year for the fourth quarter. They don't understand that No Man's Sky already took that title for 2016.
Oh come now, it really was. Alan Wake was closer to a Stephen King story, and great in its own right. That being said, DP did have a much closer offbeat vibe that Twin Peaks brought to the table.
Hold out for that level inhibitor, too. You'll want it.
What frame issues are left is down to frame pacing, which is easily fixable. I never had a notable or damaging frame drop in my time playing xv, and compared to the awful framerates we'd gotten with earlier previews, I was relieved to see it.
Deadly Premonition was a better Twin Peaks simulator.
This guy speaks the truth. It's essentially a pet simulator/puzzle game, along the lines of Seaman or Tamagotchi. Trico would be less character and more machine if he obeyed every single one of your commands at the press of a button. Agro from Shadow of the Colossus didn't obey me at all times, and he ended up being one of the best horse companions in a video game. Trico follows that same principle.
Also, to be frank, I've never had a particularly frustratin...
He's not a monster. He's an idiot.
Is this exclusively for VR?
Even worse is this is from the Canadian branch of the Japanese EA.
You'd think they'd have learned from Asura's Wrath.
You owe it to yourself to play the games one way or another. Especially play Ace Combat 4, 5, and Zero. All the others are good except for Assault Horizon. Avoid that one like the plague.
The first sign Forever was going to suck was the moment Gearbox was picked to rebuild the game.
They even went on record saying they'd only consider a sequel if they had a good story in mind. It's a great mentality to have.
Still want Unkarted though.
Cindy is the clickbait I always bite.
