But no season pass.
I'd say it has potential to be the first great double digit FF.
It's possible they playtested it and didn't find any. My playthrough was bug-free.
Actually when those numbers actually mean something, stat boosts, drop chances, maximum health, weapon customization, etc. it does make that game an RPG or at the very least gives that game RPG elements. An accurate comparison would be toward other action RPGs such as The Witcher or the Souls series, which also notably blended skill based combat with stats and numbers.
Let's talk about what's actually upset you, and I assure you it's not nearly as objective a...
If FFXV seriously felt like DMC to you, then I'm not sure you've ever played a DMC game.
Played about 7 hours before making myself stop and ran into none of these. The game was consistently stable and generally beautiful, even on an OG PS4. These strike me as fairly rare visual bugs that you'd see in any large game.
My biggest concern, that blizzard would murder the framerate like it had in the earlier tech demos, is gone. I haven't seen any notable or gameplay hindering framerate issue, and I'm playing on an OG PS4.
Video games.
Also those little tusked cow things are a must if you want a longer fight. They have absurd amounts of HP and fight in packs, so you can get used to crowd control.

Even the vanilla PS4 game has gotten major improvements both in performance and graphics since the master version. Now there's no need for the world to report yet another broken-ass game that needs a Day 1 patch.
That last lonely road to the Kiln of the First Flame, and the fight with Gwyn at the end of it.
On one hand I'm glad there's not too much of a difference between Pro and Vanilla. On the other I'm glad there's enough difference to warrant the Pro's validity.
My advice: if you already have a PS4, go ahead and get XV on it. If you don't, then there's no reason why you shouldn't get a PS4pro aside from finances. I've had doubts about it myself, but the reviews and look I've seen in pro footage of the Judgment demo prove that this is a good upgrade. I don't personally feel it's worth 400 dollars if you already spent 300 on a normal PS4, but it is definitely worth 400 if you don't have one.
That sa...
I'm at work after playing for only an hour, Ginpachi, and I feel your pain.
Yes, but it's very easy and legal to open a Japanese Playstation Network account. Not sure about Xbox One, but I've heard others aren't having much trouble there either.
Your biggest hurdle will be the Japanese text and vocals. Lotta guesswork throughout the demo, but it's not too hard to figure out.
It's not too shabby on a vanilla PS4 either, but it's nice to know that Pro's advertising wasn't just blowing hot air in the end.
I loved it. More content than I expected from a demo and I had a good time overall. Including the Justice Monsters V minigame was pretty damned cool, too.
One thing to note, though, I went through every option and not a single one of them changed the language. It's worth all the guesswork, but it's ultimately a bit of a bummer.
Oh, and the food is absolutely beautiful. I wasn't disappointed.
The problem going on right now, kingdomtriggers, is that he wasn't very clear on his opinion of his overall experience. His writing style reminded me somewhat of film critic Armond White: a lot of purple prose that could be taken in various ways.
There's also his mention of what he believed was the game's ending (and a confusing one at that), only to turn around and say it was just a preview copy and he only completed 14 out of 15 confirmed chapters.
I doubt they're lying, as even the author has clarified that his copy did not reflect the final product.
My time with the Judgment Disc alone was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't even read or understand the dialogue. I'm more hyped for this game than ever.
