You're right. 60 bucks for early access was just too much.
@NukaCola
sdcard4gb loves going on overdramatic tirades. He just can't help himself.
I was going by recorded nonspecific average, so probably both scenarios.
The biggest choice at the end of Walking Dead season 2 was a lot harder than whether or not to nuke Megaton.
15 hours is about average for a standard game and pretty long for horror.
Silent Hill 2, widely considered one of the greatest horror games ever made, only averaged around 8-9 hours. Resident Evil 2 averaged 6 to 8 and REmake averaged around 11.
This is closer to Resident Evil 4's length. A lot can be told in that amount of time, especially if that's just an average playthrough and doesn't account for 100% completion.
Is this the hot new Switch launch title?
Hell, I'll take anything from a good soundtrack, and Bear McCreary's nothing to sneer at.
I feel the problem with this trailer was showing the players instead of the game.
Seriously, what the hell were they thinking relegating the game footage to a fraction of an inch?
It definitely has the worst trailer.
EDIT: Would've been great to actually see what was on the screen.
Well of course you won't. It's sold out.
Mario was always human, and it was outright stated by Miyamoto that he used to live among humans in Brooklyn.
They didn't stylize the NPCs in this stage strictly as a design choice and it was most likely because the team thought it would be fun to see Mario jump around in a modern, traditional setting. Wouldn't entirely be surprised if the stage was inspired by the Japan 2020 Olympics announcement that ended the Rio games.

The entire Internet's gotten so bitter and contrarian it doesn't even trust a mainline Mario game anymore.
Odyssey looks like it still has the charm and inventiveness that made Mario a household name in the first place.
Looks like this could be a retcon putting Mario's hometown in the same universe. New Donk City is probably the Mushroom Kingdom's equivalent to New York.
Not that I'm complaining. Name aside, it still looks like Mario's finally gone home.
Platinumgames'll just do what all devs do and take their ideas to other IPs. Scalebound, at the end of the day, is just a title. P* makes fun games, and they aren't gonna stop any time soon.
Microsoft's really starting to look like the Western Konami here....
Shame you got flagged, Overload.
Maybe Kamiya'll learn from this and start directing multiplat games again. We haven't gotten that from him since Bayonetta in 2009.
They always take a couple of weeks off after a holiday sale.
I'm actually starting to wonder if so much got cut because of bluray space.
Also wondering if Tabata didn't try to make the game a multi-disc venture, and Square refused due to costs.
The disc everybody got was packed to the brim. 50GB is all a dual layered bluray disc can hold.
Japan tends to allow for glitches that people like; Nintendo's even been on record saying this. Why waste manpower, time, and money fixing something that doesn't warrant fixing?
Even Bethesda kept the Giant Space Program glitch.
Now you're just accusing people who disagree with your opinions of being account swappers? You're just being ridiculous at this point, foxtrot. If you're gonna attack users directly like that at least pick something besides a Tails avatar.
