I just don't get the dancing in a SW game at all. Especially because I'm a guy, and I would be expected to dance like a chick? Come on, get real, no thanks! And I wouldn't want my son dancing like a chick either, sorry but that's just me.
It's not less power, that's a bad way to think about it. It's just not going to be the huge graphical jump we saw from last gen to this. Besides, as long as there is more RAM, we'll be seeing big differences in fps and hopefully native 720p all around with many 1080p games as well.
I wouldn't say "prototype". Every platform improves on it's previous model, the PS4 will be no different but that doesn't make the PS3 a prototype. The only issue the PS3 had was a lack of RAM which made it fall short of the Xbox360's social features (x-game chat, voice messaging, etc.) as well as having a slow xmb. Other than that, the PS3 is an amazing machine.
@Summons75, you have morals, but playing as an assassain killing hundreds of characters is ok for you? Maybe "morals" is the wrong word choice, you should have said you have "standards".
Ot, if they did not include scalping due to historical inaccuracies, then killing children should be in the game because you know, historically speaking, children do die.
Lol, harsh words, but you're right. It's like saying Wendys hamburgers are going to outsell Mcdonalds. Eventhough the quality of Wendys is higher, Mcdonald is cheaper and has a much broader appeal, especially for kids.
And a better question, how will the ps3, xbox360 handle it? I hope it can keep a steady frame rate.
With that attitude it won't catch on. Just don't complain when the next COD, BF, MOH, BFBC are more of the same thing every year. If you don't support this, you don't support innovation.

Marketing has nothing to do with Zipper's failures. SOCOM 4 was a POS game and sorry guys but MAG wasn't great either. The idea of MAG was great, but a nonexistant player base and a mediocre game killed it. I was so hyped up SOCOM 4 that I bought the Move bundle for it. What a ripoff, terrible game. A company should never market terrible games, because when the truth comes out that the game sucks the fanbase...
As much as we all bag on Angry Birds, 95% of us will download it. It's the COD of the app world everyone gets it eventhough many don't like to admit it.

The vita has seemed to reach it's bottom, which is not bad considering there are currently no Japanese games for it. IIRC the 3DS was doing the same #s till good games came out for it.

Tanks were terrible in WaW. I can't even count how many times I jumped in a tank and got 25-0, 30-0, etc. I would tell myself, "isn't anyone going to try and stop me?" And on the flip side, it always seemed I was the only one on my team to try to take enemy tanks out, so frustrating.
Keep vehicles in BF games, not COD games.
That is why I will be renting it today if Blockbuster has any copies left when I get off work.

Typical PR statement, they said the same thing pre-PS3 price drop. I do think they will lower the price this fall, but not as drastic as some might expect. I think they will drop to $229 and $269 for the wifi and 3G respectively. Or they might just do away with the 3G all together.
What about Nintendo's losses. They've been bleeding for quite some time. If somebody were to go handheld only it would probably be Nintendo.

I used to feel like you do, I have 21 plats, but in the last 3 months or so my want to get trophies has tanked for some reason. An odd thing I have started to notice now that I don't give a crap about trophies is that A LOT of games use achievements/trophies as bandages for crappy games. That normally crappy level suddenly turns into a not-so-bad level when that trophy pops up.
