Lololololololololololol, funny article!
I've got another for you, James Cameron's Avatar. Surprisingly, that game actually got me hooked. I played the multiplayer to platinum the game, and was shocked at how much fun it was. Unfortunately, many of the players at the time I played were only there to platinum as well and many matches were crappy as a result. Still, it was a fun, unique experience.
Hmmm, don't know where you got the dlc part from, your imagination? The statement they gave is the same every politician says, it basically means "f*** you".
@Optical_Matrix, you're exactly right! Agree 100%. People asked for a handheld that can pump out a console experience, but it seems like they want ios/android pricing. It's nonsense! Plus the Sony AAA titles like U:GA for $49 is great imo, it's $10 cheaper than a PS3 AAA title. Unit 13 @ $39 i's another excellent game at a great price.
People just like to bitch and moan about everything. Most likely because they can't afford it. If they can't ...
I don't like the idea of kickstarting games AT ALL. It's a VERY slippery slope. Remember how dlc started? Everybody thought it was the coolest thing to have extra content after the game released, but it quickly turned into a cash grab.
Now we're getting devs asking for cash from the public to make games. Are we going to see exactly where the money goes? What it buys? There is absolutely no transparency in these ventures. There was an article I commented in ...
Damn, good deal. I thought all these would have sold out already, we're almost 4 months past the holidays.
Gamers complaining about the ME3 ending = legit. Gamers demanding to CHANGE ME3 ending = self entitled.
I have no issue with complaints about weak plots, dlc or buggy games. But raising an uproar over a part of the story YOU don't like, demanding changes to a story YOU didn't write, threatening dev employees, threatening reviewers, trashing metacritic scores, threatening to pirate a game, etc has to stop.
@xyxzor, I agree, Skyrim is another example...
Yeah, it is quite disturbing he would create a virtual prepubescent boy to play and conversate with.
Well to be fair, after taxes it's probably only like 25 million : )
Because you can't buy direct from the publisher. I work at a medical manufacturer, we also dont say "sold", we say we "shipped" eventhough they are sold. I believe it's like this because in the manufacturing business you dont get paid right away. When we "ship" to our customers they have 30 days to pay or return, then after the 30 days they get charged interest. Thats how the businesses world works.
I generally agree with you, but there are some instances when I will buy a game because a certain dev made it, even if I don't know too much about the game. These devs are: Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream and Guerrilla Games. When a dev consistently pumps out quality games, they do gain my trust.
I support people when they have legitimate complaints. For instance, having the option of Shepard being gay. That was a bad move of Bioware imo. I'm fine with it if it was written in the first ME game, but this is the 3rd installment and adding it now is just a move to increase the audience>increase profits. They did nothing more than rape the character.
Having said that, I do not support people who bitch about the game and still buy it. I heard so many comments...
Lmao, I know right? I still want a Neo Geo. They were and still are too expensive.
Shitty article.
"However, others are already claiming the device is dead in the water"
Who the hell is saying that besides fanboys in forums and comment sections? Shitty writing, shitty article, please keep your worthless crap off N4g.
I look at your comment and I can see where this guy is coming from.
I'll just say this, anyone who pays a large sum of money in advance for unknown dlc is a fool. They will not get my sympathy if they end up feeling ripped off.
Uh oh, looks like the 3DS is in trouble. J/k, j/k, see people, there are rises and falls for every platform. Nobody is doomed, everything looks healthy enough.
And who says there is nothing but Sony fanboys on N4g?
I'm shocked there hasn't been an Onimusha game this gen. Onimusha was one of my favorite franchises on the PS2.
I've had demos like UFC and Madden (among many others) on my PS3 that I played dozens of times. People would come over and we would play them over and over. Granted this is not on the 3DS, but you get my point. Some people like me can get a lot of playtime off just a demo.
