Because they they produced the same darn franchises for over 25 years. Their arrogance cost them and us what could have been awesome games from 3rd party developers on Gamecube, N64 and Wii. Look at the quality libraries the NES and SNES had, then compare to the other systems. There is no comparison.

Either way, it's a sale lost for Nintendo. For the folks that bought consoles as gifts for their kids, they only buy 1 console per year at the most. So even if the WiiU was sold out, those are sales lost for a long time that they won't get back.
Since Insomniac has been working on Fuse this makes me think they had a B-team working on the past 2 R&C games given the lack of quality they showed.

This is the first year I didn't buy it. The hype has passed now, so I don't think i'll pick it up at all now. Especially after the NT2025 map fiasco. While I do like small maps here and there, I also like "sniper maps", and COD is offering that less and less which disappoints me.
Maybe i'll pick up COD: WaW, that was a great game with great sniper rifles and maps. I also LOVED how you could shoot irons with sniper rifles.
Yes, you WILL have better online play when ONLY < 600 people are playing at the same time. Increase that to >500,000, different story.

Agree 100%. For some reason I could play Nuketown over and over and not get bored. The fast paced chaotic action is just addicting. Reminds me of Radec Academy from KZ2, that's another map I would play nonstop. If people want to play it, let them play it.

Thats the only reason I played BO. Theres a reason everyone used to vote it back to back, because it was fun. When Treyarch made the change in BO where a map could only be voted in twice back to back, and I think they changed the odds of it coming up in a playlist, is when I stopped playing.

How much memory the RAM can store for textures, graphics, physics, OS, etc is the capacity. It's not permanent storage space, but temporary based on what you're playing/doing.
The RAM speed is how fast the game/app can access and utilize this information. The slower it can access it means worse performance. It's why we see texture pop ins when playing a game, it's why the PS3 has a tough time with Bethesda games.

I'm not sure how "mainstream" the Wiiu will be. Here's 2 examples: First, I saw on the news this morning they had an analyst showing the must-have video game related products. He showed Book of Spells, Halo 4, the Vita bundles and BO2. No mention of the Wiiu whatsoever. Example 2, I went to Walmart yesterday afternoon and went to the game section to check the Wiiu out. To my surprise, not a single person was at the Wiiu kiosk, while all other kiosks were being used.
