So do you oddly enough.
@ Meercat, your point?
When devs have a hard time making games that can run at least 720p natively @ 60 fps.
Many games are incorporating 3D, but at the expense of graphics (see Killzone 3). This is because of the current tech limitations. People want at least 720p, 60fps and 3D. We need new hardware for this, period.
EDIT: Also, look at the limitations of the Xbox360 discs, when you have to start using more than 1 disc thats another sign for change.
Resident Evil anyone?
So I guess contrary to what some think COD does take some skills.
Lol graywulf got owned. COD has nothing to worry about from BF. Never have never will. I'm glad to know Graywulf won't be polluting my MW3 experience. Keep the kids on BF where they belong.
Big maps and vehicles are 2 big reasons COD players don't like BF games. In a 6v6 game what sense does it make to have huge maps? Maybe on pc with more players but not console.
And greywolf, "cod lack of evolution"? How many game modes does BF still have after all these years? BF gameplay hasn't changed at all!
Infinite sprint?!? Trying to be like COD huh?
And low recoil? Hope it's not another MOH disaster. P.S. I shoot guns all the time, and an AR-15 (civilian M-16) does have very low recoil, so that's not a problem, but in full auto that's another story. Hope they make recoil somewhat realistic.
Just when I think the 360 can't get anymore casual, it puts on a speedo lol!
"People actually end up spending more on console because games are more costly. Hence the cost argument is clearly in favor of the PC."
False and overly used statement. The discounts on new or recently released Steam/D2D downloads aren't that impressive. Also, you cannot resell your downloads to recoup some of your costs. IF you buy a Wii, PS3 or 360 game, you can always resell it on Ebay, CL or to a gameshop. Then, with PS3 greatest hits and 360 platinum hi...
Yup, nice ninja edit too.
@theBurnedMan, you obviously only read what you wanted to. Sure, cost is an issue, but I think what really matters are the GAMES. In every comment in this article no PC gamers can list any really good games exclusiv to PC other than MMOs or RTS games. PC might have alot of indie games, but guess what PSN and Live have just as much.
So, if you consider yourself a real gamer, lets compare some exclusive games:
God of War 3, Little Big Planet 1 and 2, GT5...
I don't think it's too soon. He didn't create anything offensive, and there's no bad humor involoved. Japan is in a bad situation right now and people should talk about it and memorialize it in their own artistic ways. If I were a PC gamer I would want this mod, I think it's impressive.
They were laid off, not fired. There's a huge difference. If you're fired, you can't claim unemployment benefits. If they were laid off, that's not at all uncommon in the gaming industry like the articles says. Homefront is done, no need for a full staff anymore. I'm sure when a new project comes along, those guys will be getting calls.
I actually enjoy Techno Buffalo's videos. They are high quality and really well done, without bias.
The 3DS has barely been out, relax. This is hardware, not software. It will keep selling throughout its lifetime at a steady pace, and look out when there will be inevitable price drops around the holidays.
Also, this is VGChartz, I would wait until Nintendo announces sales at E3 to judge flop or not.
@ Malamdra, you're right. These "do sales matter" articles never started to pop up with this much frequency until the PS3 has started to smash the competition.
Funny enough, if you start to compare exclusives or gameplay, the PS3 trumps the competition there as well.
You are right, but phonetically there is no difference between "it's" and "its". Jio used a word that is different in meaning and phonetics. I was just trying to save him the humiliation in "real life" if he decides to use the word "iteration" in the future.
Btw, thank you for correcting me.
Jio, its "iteration", not "alliteration".
