This is why I don't want to buy diablo 3, FF14, GTA 5 or any other game right now. I may try and play everything I missed until november. Yeah, I may grab gta5 b/c I think it will be at least a yr b4 we see that.
I just don't understand why...with the success of Ni No Kuni, the tales series etc. especially in Japan, why SE feels that they have to westernize or appeal to a larger audience. If they kept to the open world, travel and grinding of old, the new graphics, story and innovative combat would shine. Am I the only one that thinks the old school FF could be updated and still b very popular.
Also, I heard on IGN the idea that next gen will be AAA titles and Indies...with a few...
So...its the same as now. When Naughty Dog and other 1st party developers create for Sony...it will give high end pcs a run for their money. When its multiplat, they will b quite similar. Maybe Sony will have slightly better framerate or textures but the differences will b negligible.
It would be a terrible idea! Can u imagime how many ppl would die! And stores open even earlier for pre orders. Also...it would b giving Sony a headstart after they gave MS the chanve to launch first.

I am liking it as long as it always remains fair. Ppl hated losing souls or enemies respawning. It is simply old school gaming in which if u died, u strted at a checkpoint and tried again. Imagine if in mega man when u died, all the enemies u killed were gone the 2nd time through...pretty lame. It made u become aware of who ur enemies r and what they could do. I agree. It was exactly the same. Dont get me wrong. This is one of my most anticipated games. But, unlike titanfall and many others, we dint really know what the hell it is exactly. It is and isn't an mmofps game. Theres co op and competitive alongside a deep rpg space/open world game. Its a lot to grasp and more footage would have been nice.

Its a great feeling though...and if someone gets me...hats off! Don't get me wrong, titanfall looks badass but isn't there an auto pistol that locks on to up 3 enimies with headshots. Imagine how annoying that will b.

Maybe I am crazy...but why did Sony announce at gamescom? Why didn't they steal the 5th from Microsoft if they were gonna do it. Many ppl play CoD on the playstation and many r not gonna want to wait to play it. Sony was smart with their upgrade program but it will still cost ppl more than $60-70 and for a 10 days.
Microsoft would b insane not to launch on the 5th with CoD. Sony gav them this present. Take it!!
Not a great argument. If I spend $60 on a game that is gonna b amazing...look at all the awards it is getting...and I play it for months to a yr, I am gonna b happy with my purchase. Developers and publishers have already thought about this. If in 3-5 yrs no one is playing an online only game...similar to mmos...it will go f2p somewhere and then eventually it will die. This will have no impact on whether I spent $60 on it yrs ago! I would rather battlefield do no sp at all and focus resources...
This may sound crazy but why not Ni No Kuni. It looks gorgeous...its a good story and the combat isn't too complex. Its a great place to start. If its too far back, the graphics coupled with pure turned base or grinding etc. will turn ppl off. Most wanted is simple...fallout 4. Realistically, I can't wait for the witcher 3 and cyberpunk 2077! Red Dead 2 will b amazing too. Nothing got me quiye like exiting the bunker in fallout 3....except maybe Rapture! I can't wait for it.
I agree with the cash shops but I don't really have a problem with the monthly fee. This is entirely dependent upon how vigorous they r with updates and added content but I don't mind paying so that they can continually make the game better! Their reasoning is simple. Its Elder Scrolls and they feel like they have to start off with a monthly fee. If it doesn't work, they will drop it like SWTOR. If its everything we want though and they invest in an experience that may last 5 yrs ...
Arent most ppl gonna buy the system their friends buy? My guess is that 80-90% play CoD, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, AC4, FIFA or Madden. So, why do day 1 games matter so much? To be honest...it wasn't nearly as difficult as I feared it would b having not played demon souls. But, I play every game the same way...with patience and preparation. I have to search everywhere and find everything and this helped. I did die a lot but if u take the time to plan and figure out what u want to do and how u want to go about the world...it isn't that bad. It is rewarding though and few games come close to its sheer awesomeness...l!
Doesn't matter what launch games are really. Hardcore will buy one or the other. Others will stay with their brand or where their friends are...and most ppl will b playing 3rd party titles anyway.
I do know that MS may not win at launch but they r planning on titanfall catching fire and selling a lot of units early next yr. I am getting a ps4 but I am pretty sure I will get an xbox1 for that game
