No offense, but reviews like this are nonsense and usually to garner clicks. The quality and content alone deserve a 7.5-8. I get it’s not for everyone, but I’d be ashamed putting this out.
Feel like I can’t even afford a good setup anymore make about $120. Would love to upgrade. Just getting insanely expensive
Truth is we need to find a way to evolve as we always have. Socialism isn’t the answer because it creates 2 classes, the rich and the poor. And while we are headed this way anyway, at least there’s the change to adapt, the chance for new jobs to be created.
Problem is that AI isn’t like the Industrial Revolution or the advent of the internet. It does everything better than everything else. So it’s going to be tough.
We will want human interaction for sure, but for those who ...
It is. Heres the problem. These companies will get as creative as humanly possible, cutting all non-union jobs and using as much tech to replace jobs until they finally file bankruptcy and go under. So I guess just pray you retire first.
The real problem is the pension. Who will fund them once these companies do? I work for a big company that is unionized and it’s had drastic effects.
It’s because they don’t understand what ppl want, which insane considering how Lorian took their IP and made one of the best ROGs in history.
All we ever hear is how nothing they make lives
Up to expectations.
Cyberpunk and No Mans Sky are obviously the 2
best comeback stories. Cyberpunk is literally one of the best RPGs ever made now.
Why remove it? I get TW3 and it’s about to get a resurgence with the DLC.
Damn. I’ll never play it by then. And it’s kinda dumb to remove a game that won’t sell much more but makes ppl pay for PS Plus
How did you manage that? Bought kits?
How is it 3rd party companies can afford to make and sell them for cheaper?
Spencer isn’t the one making these decisions. The irony is that in 10-15 yrs it probably won’t matter because we care nothing about the safety of AI and in the race to advance, one by one we will relinquish all of our control to it. Companies will have to to stay competitive.
And then…
Maybe Microsoft wasn’t the best option after all. It’s very sad. But it’s the same company that released Clair Incur on Gamepass on the same day they shadow dropped Oblivion Remake.
Literal f morons.
I know we have pushed for Sony to make all their games for all systems. We mock them etc. Watch what happens when everything is under one umbrella.
You are killing me. I’m debating playing it as I just started Cyberpunk. Ahhhhhh. I’m on vacation starting tomorrow and you are making it harder.
I will just one shot him! This is my favorite game of the last few years, but if I had one gripe it would be balancing in act 3. You have to farm enough to be able to tackle certain content and then you end up too strong for 99% of it!
Just the beginning. Next 5 yrs we will see more layoffs than we’ve ever seen.
If your model is a bigger world with monthly content, the initial IP for this structure has to be great!
It doesn’t have to be long, and the cheapest the better, but it’s a good concept.
Create a game that’s solid and sell for cheap and offer monthly content for a price. But no one will buy it if the first entry is terrible.
Cyberpunk is one of this gens best RPGs now so it’s a huge game and luckily a lot of ppl probably havnt played it because of the launch.
Maybe games should be priced by quality and content available. So GT6 and ES6 might be able to charge $100 or $120. But other games shouldn’t be allowed to charge more than $40.
Seriously. Why was Clair Obscur only $50? It was worth $70 or me. Hell I’d probably pay $200 just because it’s one of my favorite games ever.
I do see how some games would add worthless content to up the price. Or maybe they just have to be more creative with their DLC. Charge $50-70 and ...
It’s the slippery slope we find ourselves in. But here’s the crux. Do we hurt the entire game, which will result in many more layoffs over 2 stupid paintings.
Also, I want to protect jobs or the creativity of art, but at the same time, I don’t want to pay $100 or more for a game.
These guys gave us a somewhat flawed game for $70 that is hundreds of hours of content. We aren’t going to see this a lot going forward because they take so long, are so expensi...
