Sounds like it could hav been an entirely new game. I am super excited but I wonder if they hav started a next gen title. Cant wait to see how new additions will b used. It will b awesome to record gameplay and share different strategies with others.
I don't know how much I trust this b/c they r pre orders that hav stopped. Are they saying that Sony made twice as many systems available for pre order? I pre ordered an xbone b/c ps4 was stopped a long time ago...and I wanted to get both. It would b strange though if MS only made about half as many consoles available b/c they r sold out everywhere now too.
We saw a video of battlefield running on ps4 and xbone and while the ps4 had slight advantages, they both looked a hell of a lot better than this gen. So why would we think that CoD would look the same? It won't be a juggernaut cuz it isn't an amazing looking game anyway but I doubt its the same as the 360.
I am getting a ps4 cuz all my friends are also but I would b lying of I didn't say that I am looking forward ti also getting the xbone. As an enyertainment device...I think its gonna b pretty damn cool...for sure. Yeah they opted for a different build so that it could b used more like a pc...running multiple apps at the same time. But they havnt abandoned gaming....just chose experience over resolution for the time being. I will hav an xbox by the time titanfall releases...and if I can ru...
Remember that they do have two studios. U4 is almost a must...considering the release of titanfall and halo 5 next yr.
Couple reasons. First, The Last of Us and ps4 have demanded a lot of attn. I am sure they didn't want to up end the spotlight on a new system or a possible goty. Also, it would take attention away from launch games. Being that u cannot oreder the ps4 right now, there's no need. But...once its released and all goes well...and the shelves hav consoles to sell...an Uncharted 4 announcement would b awesome. Hell, I'd make sure that Infamous and U4 get a ton of press around the release...
The next installment will b the most important yet to its survival. It will come on the back of titanfall, which will scratch the CoD itch...until u r bleeding!! I know it was near impossible to expect so much this time around with next gen etc. But Activision has 1 shot...with treyarch...to do something to move this game forward...or not. If not...it becomes EA's universe that we live in...cuz titanfall will b a juggernaut.
Not to defend b/c there is a difference but its not like its gonna look like a 720p game from this gen. CoD will still look very similar to ps4, same as B4 etc. I can guarantee u that no one will b talking about how last gen titanfall is when they play it. They will b talking about how amazing it is. I may love Sony, but I will want to buy an xbone just to play this game, whatever the native resolution is.

Agree. Also, it will b split b/c many will buy on 15th and 22nd as well as later for xmas w/ new consoles. Still, I think ghosts will b competing more directly with next gen consoles and other games than gtav. It will also b interesting though, if they count upgrades as units sold.

Great statement. And what I love most is that it will b native 720p also...simply scaled up to 1080p. But no one will b talking about whether its actually next gen material b/c it will be obvious by..its gameplay!! No one will care if its blacks r too black or whether it doesn't look as good from 12 inches.
Don't get me wrong...I love what Sony has done...and I am getting an xbone b/c I can't get a ps4 anywhere. Otherwise I would choose ps4 day 1 and buy an xbone...
Yeah...this is xbone's saving grace. If it can combat all the negative press at launch with a stable release, the tables may turn early next yr. This is a game that sells consoles...period. Especially to all those CoD lovers...and Sony has captured millions of CoD players despite the deal MS has with activision. But this game is gonna demand fps fans purchase an xbone.
I agree that ps4 is a more powerful machine and better console for gamers. To b fair, the ps4 would cost as much w/ the eye. It was smart not to include it. MS is banking on the fact that ppl will b hooked by what the xbone can do with kinect...that ppl will want it cuz its cool...and I am sure they r scrambling to fix and get past this resolution debacle. I just can't believe they didn't c this coming.
So...if they had not included an sp, he woulda gav it a 9.5 or higher. How can u dock points cor something u don't hav to play? Also, if they r gonna continue to make a 4-8 hr sp campaign to show off its beauty, why not hirer a good writer that can at least give us a phenomonal story while we ride the rails. At least we will get a semi interactive movie experience out of it. I am sure they can come up with something other than US vs. China or Russia...something unique. It wouldn't ta...
If they r lucky and can produce games that look very similar to ps4, they may dodge a bullet. Better get Titanfall in consumers hands sooner than later...it will b their saving grace.
Very strange but I swear I have read these comments before...oh yeah...for every comparison for every game that released for ps3 and 360. Xbox is darker and PlayStation looks a little washed out in spots but has more detail...hmm?
They must have either thought watch dogs would b out earlier or something b/c I can't imagine anyone at Ubisoft thinking it was smart to launch two open world 3rd person games shortly after gtav, at the same time as next gen, cod and B4, and in direct competition w/ one another. Better to sell as many as they can of AC4, then release watch dogs after tax season. The target consumers r the same for these games so they would hav been limiting their sales for both games as a whole.

Exactly. Most wouldn't even care if they replaced sp with 3-4 new maps. But, 4 hrs is about 8-10 with higher difficulty and a little more for trophies. But, for $60 to get what should b a gorgeous high octane sp campaign in addition to the mp...definitely worth it. The trailers look pretty good.
It is a big deal if two games that MS has paid money to for timed exclusivity ends up being or looking a lot better on the ps4. It will hurt MS a lot. These games r too big. I pre ordered an x1 b/c I simply couldn't find a ps4 anywhere...and thia news doesn't make me happy. If its a developer issue, it makes no sense that EA and Activision...or DICE and Infinity Wsrd of all games, couldn't put in the time or figure it out. Somethings wrong.
I could only agree under 2 conditions...1. Achievement for hardest difficulty and 2. Use this as an opportunity to make an even harder difficulty (not simply ng+ but something unique). And how does ng+ work with an easy difficulty? Or online?
