True but I hab always loved the idea and figured that consoles would hav to go this direction in order to keep up and extend a life cycle. U can still make games with 3 settings like min, med, and max. Yes, I would pay $700 for a max settings ps4 that I knew could compete with pc in 3-4 yrs. And since consoles drive software creation and innovation, if this were an option everyone qould benefit.
My biggest fear is that we reach a stall much earlier in this gen's life cy...
The surprise may be that xbox one looks better...I know MS has a deal w/ EA. But he said ps4 multi footage vs. Xbox one sp footage. SP probably does look better than multi.
Its gonna hurt a lot if the rumors about CoD and Titanfall are true. These are Microsofts bread earners and 720p would scream to everyone that there are problems with the xbox one that these two games could no t b made to run at 1080. The news may take awhile to become widespread but if initially there r big graphical differences on a game of this magnitude, expect many to make a shift. I am actually having a hard time believing it.

I just got the dark soul achievement last night. Definitely one of my all time favorite games. I can't wait for it.
I actually think iys financial. They don't want to release two 3rd person open world games at the same time, also competing with ew hardware, CoD, and Battlefield. Many who like AC4 would also love WD. Better to maximize AC's sales and release watch dogs post tax season.
Its very strange. I am thinking that they didn't want to launch AC 4 and Watch Dogs at the same time. Cuz Watch Dogs was gonna sell well. Maybe they r worries that there simply won't b enoughmoney to spend. Better to move it to tax time.
I bet it will seem easier to me than when I began dark souls. For me ng+ was much easier than ng simply b/c I had grasped the gameplay and environment. Dark Souls 2 will feel familiar to me...I am sure...but I can't wait. Also, Dark Souls isn't very hard. It just demands patience, intelligence, and fortitude. Most games do not anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I think as far as gameplay is concerned, there r avenues that can b taken to make Cage's games more interactive. Aiden was the absolute perfect engine for some brilliant puzzles. Also, I would love to see actual consequences for mistakes that take u an alternate route.
But, u have to giv this game props. While so many games r simply re releases with some upgrades etc., this games is a glimpse into the future. Yeah, as I said, the focus was obviousl...

Kingdoms of Amalur was amazing. Still havnt finished it yet but I am gonna. Mafia 2 was really good but I really want a mafia game that lets me start out and work my way to the top, mat be an open world with choices. The goal being to become the most badass don ever. Maybe u merge or eliminate the other families, pay everyone off, create allianves, take over businesses and buy property. Now after playing gta v, hopefully next gen brings a killer mafia app.

Its definitely about money but also I think they realize that many of the people who play gta don't have the time needed to invest in something like gta online...this will keep the numbers up.
My main concern isn't houses or clothes but cars and guns. These will directly affect gameplay if u r racing or playing capture the flag with a group of ppl who have souped up vehicles etc. They should at least wait 2 weeks b4 offering it...allowing us time to earn money.
It all staryed when microsoft decided to get into devices. Windows 8 is simply meant for xbox and kinect and mobile devices.
Imagine what could b done with a dedicated OS for gaming. They r coming after consoles and this mayb the reason that many jump ship to pc. But...it will all depend on marketing. One of the best games of this generation. It is the players story, immersion is unreal b/c of the environment, freedom, lack of handholding and customization. It is bery rewarding. In the age of games that simply take u for a ride...you actually feel like you are the reason for the progression...not b/c the story goes in a particualr direction. Is it hard?
