It's out now as far as I know.
Yep. They first announced this back at CES in January. Pretty damn cool if you ask me. Controls a real helicopter that has it's own camera. And through that camera an augmented reality is created turning the world around the helicopter into a game.
Hmm...at that price I think I may have to definitely try that out too. I was curious about the game when it came out but I never heard anything good about it really so wasn't willing to pay that much for it. At the price of a pack of gum though, definitely worth a shot.
Holy shit! YES! That's awesome news. I've been waiting on this. Getting that the day it drops. I've been impatiently waiting ever since I noticed on the Hong Kong store or Japan store or wherever it was. Bout time they brought it over here. Can't wait.
Yea I've always remembered those endurance races. Brutal. Several hours long and all you could do was pause, no mid-race saving or anything. Those could piss you off to no end lol. I can remember playing endurance races with my brother where we literally worked in shifts.
LOL Exactly. Just read your post Remember after I posted mine above. That's EXACTLY what I got from this "article". His entire basis is that he wants them for free, so we shouldn't pay for them. lol great logic /s
LOL Did anybody else catch this: The reason this writer says not to "fall for it" pretty much for every feature is because he'd rather have it for free. So it's not that he doesn't like the features, just he'd rather have them for free instead of having them be optional perks. That's hardly a reason to make it out like we're getting duped or something.
I think I may try it out as well. The free games alone seems to be worth the price. Though ...
Thank you indeed. And the irony of it was I thought Warner Bros. getting ahold of it would've been the final straw for Midway. Sorry for doubting them like that. This is sheer awesomeness.
Agreed. That looked like some pretty graphic shit. Definitely going back to the Mortal Kombat I used to love. Going to definitely be keeping an eye on this. Surprising, I thought for sure they'd bastardize this franchise completely once Warner Brothers got ahold of Midway.
No, purchased stuff you WILL keep. They just mean the free stuff you get will be lost without your subscription being active.
Only the free content. Stuff you pay for, like the discounted games, you get to keep. They just mean like that free game a month you can't play without your subscription active.
"And for me the natal seems to be more complete you just have to see the dance video and imagine what you can do with all the power the kinect shows"
Alb, I think that's the EXACT problem right there. All we can do is imagine right now. MS has proven absolutely nothing so far. They keep giving us smoke and mirrors and unproven promises. It's either bullcrap that you can see on the old PSEye or it's just pre-recorded videos that prove nothing. Like that S...
Agreed about price. Just too much for me for seeing so little that I want for the Move (SOCOM would be nice with the Move, but I can deal with that using the DualShock). Need more games that truly allow me to just sit lazily on the couch while I play.
So let's see 2 move controllers at $50 a pop. Then $30 for the nav controller. Plus I don't own a Playstation Eye, so that's another $33. Then would have to buy a game (though I'd be buying SOCOM either way). So ...
Exactly. I'll stick with my Onkyo receiver and Yamaha speaker system and real subwoofer. Mine's only 5.1 but only cost me like 300-400.
Don't take that as a shot at the PS3 community. That's just a shot at the industry/community as a whole. On both sides of the field. Very much I think anything Halo is overrated. We all saw how overrated and overhyped Natal/Kinect was and how it fell flat on its face. MS stuff is typically the most overhyped/overrated crap around. I'm just saying these fanatics get so batshit crazy that they start dreaming up the impossible of what could happen with things. DEFINITELY is NOT PS3 e...
First off let me say, I'm lazy as fuck. I don't want to be moving around when playing video games. I play them to relax and just be lazy while still getting interactive entertainment. Not to get a workout.
That being said, SOCOM does indeed look fun with Move now that I really look at it. If more games use that "laser pointer" use of Move rather than swinging it around etc, then I could be suckered in.
Games like DS2 or GoW4 though are the ...
Hmm very good point there. SOCOM is one of my all-time favorite franchises. My favorite shooter franchise easy. And I definitely know how competitive they get on their. This could definitely push a lot of units amongst those gamers there alone. Though, like I've said, I won't simply buy Move for SOCOM alone, and everything else I've seen is too physical for a game (I don't want to have to move around). So we'll have to see what else they come up with. Very much do like whe...
I never thought about that Hellsvacancy. A RTS could be good for Move. Move could be the tool that finally allows for the RTS genre to truly make a nice transition over to consoles. Could be very appealing indeed. And it wouldn't involve alot of moving around, more like using a laser pointer really. Yea, I could totally get into that. (and if they made a gun attachment to work with a move shooting game).
I'm like you though, the stoner in me just does NOT want to be t...
If we don't get a GT5 release date I'll be sorely disappointed. I think that's a given.
No they didn't. Playstation Lifestyle said "mystery game" which is confusing y'all people into thinking that means unannounced game. All the official blog says is they're showing off gameplay footage, but they're not going to tell us yet for which game.
