Disagree. I DO care if it's another Facebook. Another application isn't good if it's a stupid and gay application that is also redundant since PS3 can sign on to Facebook as it is. Just as useless as if they came out with an application that included a calculator, an eggtimer, an alarm clock and a calorie-counter all in one.

I could care less about this game even if it was coming to PS3.
Now that being said, let me point something out for all you flip-floppers and sh*t-talkers. I don't know if anyone has noticed this or not, but check the EA site again. L4D2 now only has Xbox360, PC, and PC Download as available platforms. On the upcoming PS3 games it's also been removed. Can't find a single mention of L4D2 on PS3 anywhere on there. My only guess is that like a month ago it was announced that the game was delayed. It was originally stated to be released this Tuesday (June 23rd). Maybe that's the reason it's putting the sign out now, since it was this next Tuesday it was supposed to come out. That delay came a lil over a month ago though. Now the official release date is August 25th.
Thought that crossed my mind: What if Sony and Activision ARE talking. And Activision knows full well what Sony has in store. That's actually a pretty good point. Maybe the Spiderman and Bond wouldn't really have that much of an impact. But I could definitely see the record label thing being a bit of a hit. Can just imagine Guitar Hero losing out to all that music. And then just to spite them Sony really gets behind Rock Band and starts backing them with their entire catalog of music. I do find these statements by Activision hilarious the more and more I read and think about them. Essentially what was said is that: Hey if ps3 doesn't cut the price so we can make more money off it, then we're going to completely cut them off (effectively cutting their overall sales by almost half probably or a lil less). I'm still not sold on this, but like I said: I will give Ubisoft the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is an exclusive. And for that I simply say: it's a shame, cause this game looks great and now I'll have to miss out. Even moreso a shame for the reason callahan mentions. I agree that Sony probably needs to cut that price down sometime soon (by the end of the year maybe) in order to really start pushing it more and getting it in more homes. But Sony and the PS3 is in no way in a bad position right now. They sell as much or more systems on a yearly basis. Alot of developers are saying they're making more money on the PS3. I'm sure Sony knows what they're doing. This isn't their first picnic here.

I have to disagree with you too. Now if it's some lil nothing feature that ends up getting coded into one of the firmware updates, that's one thing. But this is obviously a service in and of itself, which means they're probably putting some serious resources into it. And if they're going to be putting that kind of work into something, I want something NEW. Not something I could do already in the browser.
