I don't think live action would ruin this. You can go ahead and get it out of your head though, no chance in hell this is animated.
Yea I'd say that would probably be about right. If they're still in pre-production or even development still(which obviously they are with no director or actors named or anything. and Ward currently working on the script maybe?), then 2011 sounds about right. Especially considering the nature of this movie and it being a big budget one (i'm sure). Now they still have to go through more pre-production. Then we got production and filming. And being as I'd figure they'll most like film on locati...
Yea they truly are it seems. And not just in this way either, just all around they're raising bars left and right. God I love Naughty Dog. I can't wait for this game. Not sure I'll actually ever get around to using this feature personally (depends I guess on how easy and "non-intrusive" it is. But I can definitely see some awesome videos coming from this. ESPECIALLY with them emphasizing how you can change the camera like that. And even better: I can download those videos direct to ...
I would have to say October. Given the dates of the Gamestop demo, that seems most likely, though I guess I could see the time for that demo being shifted a bit if they decide on a late September release date. On another hand though, I could understand them pushing the release back a lil bit and holding off til November. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. If I had my way it would be in my hands next week lol. Can't wait for this game, my most anticipated for this year I think.
Finally, somebody who actually knows what's going on. Bubbles for that n4g.
First off, Sony doesn't own MGM. They just have a minority stake in it. Also, they do NOT own Dreamworks (or would not) Dreamworks is no longer with Paramount if that's what you're thinking. They're independent, with distribution deal Paramount (to anybody that knows, is that still correct?), but with a deal for future release beginning to be distributed by Disney (not sure when that starts and Paramount distribution ends). As well, Sony will NOT own Paramount or Nick. This is NOT a full out ...
@DrWan:
You definitely have no clue what you're talking about.
@kornbeaner
And want to know something even more surprising that most don't know? Studios gain even more profit from TV licensing than they do DVD in alot of cases. Though DVD usually runs really close in profit to TV, and even exceeds it in revenue. Just the costs to studios for TV licensing is much less than for DVD production, so they don't have as much eating into that profit, thus, while making a lil...
Actually that would probably put Sony at more like a 30% marketshare in the movie industry. NOT 80%. That would be ridiculous. 30% is still big though.
(That's if this was actually a true merger, which it's not. Read my comment at the top of this to see what I mean)
1.) Voice messaging--That could be handy. Don't think they absolutely NEED to do it, especially if you're just talking about leaving a later-to-be-received message. Can't type? Typing's archaic? Wow, tell that to the uprise of texters.
2.) Party System--This doesn't effect me, but I can see where it would be a huge help to people dedicated to clans and whatnot.
3.) Cross Game Invite--Yep I can see the value there. That needs to be implemented especially for the real online invo...
lol Talking about stating the obvious here.
I for one think they both look good. I have to give the edge to GT5 though as it looks more realistic. So I think GT5 wins that. That being said, that doesn't mean Turn10 has to be ashamed or anything. They've made a huge jump since Forza 2 and their game looks very good. GT has always been amazing, it's not bad if you don't top them. The real test though is gameplay, and nobody here has played either so nobody here can really say anything. Though if past experience shows (and gt5p displays) ...
That's one of the things I love about PSN. How Sony allows and truly embraces that creativeness and thinking outside the box. PSN has really brought us some truly unique gems this year. Just hard keeping up with all the retail games I want, PLUS they have can't-miss titles on PSN. I love stuff like Echochrome and the Pixeljunk games and others. I still need to go back and get Flower. Can't wait til Fat Princess drops too.
Agreed with the couple people above. This by no means redeems his character and reputation for things he's said in the past. Good to see he finally does say something worthwhile though. It was actually a shock to me. I was waiting for a catch when I clicked on this, thinking "surely there's some catch to this like a "best baseball game.....on the ps3" or something to that extent just to take a jab. I don't think I've honestly ever seen this guy not take a jab at Sony. I mean th...
Anybody that is buying this game just for trophies should be shot on the spot, and have their ps3 taken from them. This game is going to be amazing, trophies or not (though they don't have a choice and have to implement trophies somehow--and not in a patch like the one guy mentioned...at release). The idea above about making them all secret is kinda cool. I'm sure Quantum will figure out some things to give trophies for (not sure really how hard it is to figure out reasons to give trophies, e...
'Cause of trophy whores.
I agree Blaze. Those features would be awesome and really bring alot of attention to Home. I like Home as it is, it's just a work in progress though. It's good and only getting better every month. I'd like to take that survey.
@Pink
Seems you really only commented so you could b*tch. Those things there that are left out, you have to understand aren't just as simple as implementing. There are things called copyright/trademark laws. So there is licensing Sony has to figure ou...
Oh I'm not saying (and never said) going back and playing old games is a bad thing or anything like that. You're right, great games are great games no matter what the time. I even downloaded FFVII recently when they brought it out. I'm just saying I think the BC thing is blown out of proportion. Quite frankly, I don't have the time for gaming like I used to, I have a hard enough time playing the games coming out that I want to play, let alone going back and playing alot of older games. Grante...
MS is a good company? Right, at making money by throwing money around and sabotaging competition and ruining things trying to create monopolies in everything they do. You're right. They make money so that makes them good? Guess what, Enron made money too before it all finally caught up to them. Oil companies make billions upon billions of dollars still in this recession, you want to call them good companies as well?
And yes, it was a jab at MS. I'm always upfront about my hatred...
I have to admit, I never understood why BC was always made such a big deal. I rarely (if ever) go back and play old games once I've moved to the next generation. And if I do, I just use the PS2 I have sitting around to do that (actually I got rid of mine already, but that's because I didn't want to play any old games, and sis wanted the ps2). I mean I understand the benefit of it and all, just alot of times I hear it hyped like it's one of the most awesome features ever. And THAT is what I do...
This does look pretty damn cool. Guess this whole cloud thing is really going to take off.
First the videos in Firefox's newest update 3.5. Now this.
