Yea, I think the exact same thing. This gen just hasn't really kicked off yet, not like it will. I can name 10 people that I personally know that are waiting for that price to drop so they can make the leap as well. To all of them (especially with the support of ps2 still), the "next-gen" just hasn't started really. Granted 10 people isn't alot. But that's pretty much every gamer I personally know. So it's the majority of gamers that I know. A couple of them have bought 360s, but ev...

@locos
I'm with you, man. I feel it's only just begun. Hell it's almost as if we're at a semi-early adoption stage for the console...maybe..? I mean I can't tell you how many I know that still haven't made that jump from their ps2 to the ps3 (like they want to). Sony is just really starting to hit their stride now. I feel we have LOTS of time before we even hear an announcement of PS4. I'm just really getting into the PS3 and as far as I can tell it has a long future ahead of it.

LMAO Ok, so I wasn't the only one that noticed their incompetence and ignorance right? lol

My sentiments exactly. Well put.

So they can leave this crap journalism at home or something.

Yea, I don't think I really expected there to truly be a new SOCOM game coming. In the back of my mind I knew this would've been false speculation. I guess I was more just hoping really. Cause I would absolutely LOVE a new SOCOM with campaign right now. That was one of my favorite franchises last gen. I bet Zipper could make an amazing tactical shooter to carry over the franchise on PS3 too. But it is understandable that they have their hands full with this potentially revolutionary MAG.

Damn. I knew I shouldn't have got excited about the idea of a new SOCOM. Should've figured Zipper would have their hands full with MAG for a lil while now to be working on one.

I downloaded a lil game on my Ipod Touch (well the demo of it) not too long ago called "Shift". It kinda had a Echochrome type feel to it, like a game playing with dimensions. Could be very interesting if Sony goes with a game like this, or a game that's a mix of that and Echochrome.

In the article it says the date for the demo isn't known, but is obviously before the release of the game. When they find out the date, they'll announce it.

The reviews from E3 are negative? Point me to these negative reviews then shall you. Cause I have seen nothing but positive stuff about this game so far. Granted several have mentioned a few lil problems, but that was to be expected at that point in development. All stuff that will surely be ironed out by time the game comes out. Even people are talking about how minimal or non-existent the lag is (after they went in figuring there would be a huge lag problem). Zipper is a bad developer? Wow,...

Ah well that's cool to know. Good looking out. Really had no idea about the French gaming market over there. You know us silly Americans: we think the world ends at our borders lol jk

Exactly Mastiff. You sic him. lol

Seriously though, people need to get off this game about graphics. That is not even remotely a valid point for an MMO. Matter of fact, people need to get off the whole "graphics are everything" kick period this generation.

6191d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yea. x__JL__x is what it is. Or just JL if you prefer (just I can't use only two letters when I chose my username, either on here or PSN--which both use this same name here)

But yea, MMOs never have competing graphics really, so we must not forget that The Agency here is just that, an MMO, and as such won't be competing for any graphic contests, and shouldn't be held to such standards as something like UC2 (or even the 1st one) or anything like that.

lol It's funny. se...

Ooohhh yea. I forgot the Pixar movies. Any of those look amazing on Blu-ray. Cars looks really good, but Wall-E looks absolutely amazing. I think my jaw literally dropped when I popped that Blu-ray in. lol

Well this is at least good news for those French gamers (though I don't really know how big that market is). Probably a lil bit of good news for Sony to a degree too, nobody else will follow suit so to speak, and this was now-debunked rumor was just another thing fueling the flames over the price for the PSP Go.

Ok, last comment that I'm allowed on here, no more bubbles to use after this.

While I do mention that this will seem suspicious to some people (maybe even rightfully so), it is a nice idea, I will give them that. Especially with all the criticism as of late, this could indeed help eventually convert those skeptics over to L4D2 like you say Kionic. I mean I can definitely see the chance to do that. Afterall, you got one group playing the L4D, then you have another group playing L4...

@Kionic
lol Oh I'm not worried so much. Doesn't effect me either way.
Btw...it's "you're worried" not "your worried". Sorry, I know, I'm being a grammar nazi. I just got a thing for you/you're and they're/there/their. I'm obsessive-compulsive too, so that doesn't help the matter lol

Btw....what is ^that guy on about? "@mods, try harder"???

Which is fair enough. I'll give it that Valve is good. And indeed this is something new and cool that they're trying here. I just thought it all looked a lil suspicious. And in light of all the grief they're catching lately, this isn't going to help causes. I've already seen it around the net where people are starting to raise the same questions. Anyways, the backward compatibility thing going on here is pretty cool though.

6191d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Maybe, but the question still remains to be begged: Why are the two games so incredibly similar that they're THIS compatible to do stuff like this? I mean it's like L4D2 is nothing more than a packaged update or an expansion for L4D. (not sure if you were being sarcastic or something there, or just laughing cause the second game might not sale)

6191d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Actually I pretty much agree. At the risk of getting flamed, this is exactly what it makes it sound like. Also you have the news coming out that user-content for L4D will be compatible with L4D2 just sounds...um...suspicious...? Really does make it sound like there's nothing more to this game except extra content. I mean I heard from people that the first seemed short on content and too short, stuff like that. Then you start getting people talking about L4D2 came way too soon. I mean it's all...

I'd say we're definitely looking at full retail price. Which would seem fair enough, and wise on Sony's part if they are in fact making this with no subsciption fee necessary like is rumored. I think something like this would be worth a full retail price and it gives Sony a chance to make a lil extra money to keep running the game and whatnot over the years (granted there are also rumors of micro-transactions). I'd still have to go with full retail price though. I wouldn't see any reason it w...
