I agree. I'm getting this day one already. I can't wait for it. Looks like I'm going to be sinking LOTS of time into this game. And the track creation DOES look easy and streamlined which I really like, cause to be quite honest, LBP's level create is kind of intimidating and isn't all that easy. This one looks like I'll definitely be creating though. As for how deep the track creation is, seems to me that already it's about as deep as it needs to be. From what I've seen it seems fairly extens...

Actually this game seems too "cartoony" for Home avatars. I think it's much much better with how they have it here. Gives much more range for character creation too. I can't wait for this game.

@Immortal Kaim
lol I was about to say the same thing. I'm American, but was going to say I guess it's the same thing as how USA was settled by those trying to escape religious persecution. Now today, ran by bible thumping up-tight fanatics (where you're persecuted if you don't follow the christian way--not like legal ramification type of persecution, but ya know). By the way I will agree too on the criminals thing, but it was for the most part "debtors". So we went from a bunch...

I always love when people do stuff like what LONEWOLF just did there: taking what others have said in the past and applying to everybody only to later throw that back in their face and make them "eat those words" when it wasn't even the people that said it in the first place, just he lumps anybody who likes PS3 into a collective, that shows fanboyism doesn't it.

In other words, I'll sit here and say that I'd like to see ME1 or Conviction be announced as the "stole...

I wouldn't say Geometry Wars. Or I guess I'd rather hope not. We already have Super Stardust, we don't need Geometry Wars. Braid seems like a logical choice though.

Just an idea here: Seriously if you're going to start a petition (not like this one will mean anything or make a difference) then try to write in an intelligible manner and definitely polish up on that grammar.

On topic: this game does seem like it will be pretty cool. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Admittedly, I haven't spent much time with the level creation, but I did get in there and tinker with it a lil bit. However, it really is overwhelming to a degree trying to create a level. Anything I did was crap...like too-embarrassing-to-publish type complete and utter fail lol. Then again I guess maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. But it definitely does seem to have a steep learning curve so to speak (which is part of the reason I'm liking ModNation Racers, seems they really nailed...

Couldn't agree with you more, Syronicus. Plain and simple that is basically the only purpose of either system: to let you play games online. And since I can do that for free on PS3, I'd never even consider paying for it on 360. Hell I'd never even consider paying for it if both of them charged, I just wouldn't play online. I honestly just don't see the big deal is with all these superfluous features.

lol ok fair enough. Didn't want it to seem like I was trying to take a dig at the game or anything. I LOVE GT.

You do have a point there with the hit because of damage. Then again I guess they could've always held back on Prologue so it wouldn't outshine the full game (i'd figure they knew they were going to implement damage by then), so I'd probably figure GT5 to look as good as Prologue even with the damage, hell maybe even better (if that's possible lol). But visuals aside, I...

A walking sim. A f*cking walking sim?! I thought (or rather hoped) this was fake when I first read it. Lo and behold though, it's not. LOL

lol What's there to disagree with in my above comment? Somebody beg to differ and say that I do use all of the features that PSN offers me? Or maybe one of you thinks I'm lying when I say I have no use for some of these "essential" features that PSN is always ridiculed for missing? Or maybe someone disagrees that I am content with being able to just simply get online and play a quick round or something without the need for all the "fluff" that evidently so many of you need...

Well I'm not trying to take away from the game by making the distinction, I'm just saying. I'm as psyched and impressed by this game as anybody here. This, along with SOCOM, are probably my all-time favorite Playstation franchises. And I know that the video being mostly in-engine means the gameplay itself is also going to look awesome (like how the gameplay in uncharted looks as awesome as the cutscenes. Like I said, I was by NO means trying to dog the game as I'm a HUGE fan. The "not in...

Speaks volumes for me as well. Especially since it does everything I essentially need for gaming online when I so choose (and then some). It's funny cause I bet these people who sit here and bicker back and forth over different features and whatnot (namely xbox guys trying to brag) probably don't even use half these, ofttimes dubbed "essential", features that are available.

And bubbles for the dig on "global warming" conspiracists lol Whatever happened to cli...

I'm with you man. Even PSN offers more options/features than I ever even begin to consider using. All this bickering and flaming about extra lil fluff features is just beyond me. There are things I've heard people claim are "ESSENTIAL" (usually something live has that psn doesn't) that I just sit there and think "What in the world would I ever use that for". I'm of the same frame of mind: as long as I can connect and play a game with a community of people (doesn't even hav...

Actually psycho I'd venture to bet most of it (or maybe all of it) isn't IN-GAME, it's IN-ENGINE. There's a difference. Ie. Gameplay footage vs GT replay system. I'm by no means trying to take away from GT5, I'm just saying. Come on, that's obviously not gameplay and we do all know that there is a bit of a difference between GT's replays and gameplay. The former is always a bit more polished and cinematic, though the gameplay usually doesn't follow too far behind (just on the cinematic side, ...

I have to unfortunately admit that I've never played this, or any of the past Elder Scrolls. However, I do know Oblivion consumed ALOT of my time when I got that, and I heard the older games in the franchise were even better. So I'm downloading this even as I type right now.

I'm with you Thom, I didn't realize it wasn't prerendered either. Then again, most of it's obviously not in-game either. Though I have no doubt this will look absolutely amazing in-game. As for all the extra features, I can't wait. If it's even possible, this article has me even more hyped for GT5. And on top of that, they say they have even more to show? This game is going to blow my mind and consume my life. I can't wait!

@cmbre i agree with the sentiment: GT5 is the only racing game you need (if it's even possible, this article just made me even more hyped for this game, i don't know why). Though there is one other racing game I will be buying (after i obviously buy gt5), it's no motorstorm though. Not that I have anything against it, just rally racing in GT5 will be enough to whet my "off road" appetite (and at the end, Motorstorm is still racing which I can get my complete fill for from GT5). Iron...

I agree. I am NOT stepping into a generation of gaming where a handheld regular controller isn't available, readily available and used as the "standard". I don't see it happening though, even people going on about these motion controls have agreed with Sony when they said that even motion control needs tangible controls of some sort. It's just not feasible at this point, because you do need some kind of control. It can't be all done with motion. Need buttons. And I also think games ...
