And your reading too much into it. This simply shows that there is potential for growth for the PS4 in Japan. It has nothing to do with the Wii U, really , or Sony's financial position. Nintendo and Sony cater to different audiences in the console market. Just like last generation they can both do well in Japan without impacting the other's success. It's not as "PS4 vs. Wii U" as you make it. They are both fighting to bring the Japanese console market back to relevancy. ...
"whilst xbone is pretty much dead over there."
That goes without saying.
Limited Edition Dragon Quest PS4 with a free voucher for Dragon Quest Next due in February. Also Grand Theft Auto V launched.
Both have zero chance. Those are Sony Online Entertainment games. Their primary focus is PC. Games made by those in Sony Worldwide Studios or their 2nd party partners don't find their way from the Playstation platforms too often.
R@D is 2nd party like Quantic Dream.
If they aren't making money then they are losing it. This game has been in development for almost 10 years now. A gazzilion is a gross hyperbole, but to say TLG wouldn't have to be a commercial success at this point is stretching just as far. They havent cancelled it because their are high expectations, Sony has a lot riding on this.
You play on Xbox. If you didn't know, this site is pretty transparent.
Rules of N4G:
1) Sony can do no wrong
2) Nintendo is dieing
3) MS is the evil
So generally, if your comment is pro-Xbox you get disagrees.
Glad to hear they are doing ok.
Looking forward to Disgaea 5.
First year console blues my friend. It's never as weak as the first year.
Halo 5
Quantum Break
Even though I don't own an XB1, I would love to be able to play these games.
Soul Crushing.
Nice try though!
The thing is, graphics are something that can be seen/measured/observed.
That is not your opinion, that is you being dismissive/downplaying.
That being said, the game runs and looks amazing. I'm not gonna go as far as saying it's the best thing I've ever seen, but it's definately impressive for something in the Alpha stage. UC4 as it is now, is matching, if not besting, most new generation games on the market with a year's worth of development left...
Could also be the E3 footage takes place after Drake has been put through the wringer. On top of being given a few extra years between E3 and PSX he's probably been through far less at that point. Wonder if the story progression will be similar to UC2.
Is that all of DualShockers or is that just Abriael?
He's got his titles down to a science.
List of items - Generalization of a quote - More Inside
(When in actuality, all you need to know is in the title)
Literally everything had an animation in that pre-alpha footage. There was more detail in that small slice than most finished products.
After using his hook, Nate would curl it up and clip it back to his side.
You could see Nate's fingertip squeeze the trigger evertime he fired.
His fingertips grasped every edge dynamically.
Foliage moved according to Nate, the AI, AND the Wind.
When Nate slid through mud his clothes showed the proper amoun...
That'll probably be a big selling point in TLOU2 MP because when UC4 launches production will switch to that just like with UC3 when TLOU launched.
Did you see the PSX footage? If so, are you aware that it is currently December 2014? If Scott Rhode said the game was a different beast a mere 2-3 weeks ago, then nearly a year of develpment will be more than enough. The game should be out around the same time the other Uncharted's released. Most likely November 2015.
R@D haven't done the best job at showing what the game really is up until now.
Glad they are finally showing some unique gameplay and locations. Looking forward to it.
MS do actually have their own annual games showing. Although it did kinda die out at the end of the 360's life.

There was a press release that gave PS4 and Wii U. Last I heard X1 was at 125k awhile ago. This story just links to the tweet from Playstation France.
Edit: He got the numbers from NeoGaf. They are spot on.
