Hurry up and announce a western release date!

Game is awesome. If you own a Wii U, you owe it to yourself to buy this game.

Think it's coming to Playstation, Xbox and PC down the line too, but no confirmation. In any case, play this game!

Where were you for the past year for all the articles basking in the glory of Sony sales while jeering at the Wii U? If we're gonna throw the fanboy card then let's do it on equal ground.

My primary console is Wii U, and my secondary console is PS4. I still went ahead and bought an Xbox One- guess you could call it my tertiary console. And while my X1 sees less play time than any of my other consoles (or handhelds, for that matter), I still wouldn't want to sell it.

I bought an Xbox for exclusives only. Obviously games will be few and far between, but that's ok. I'm in favor of MORE games and options, not less. And selling a console would mean LESS...

Man this game needs to hurry up and release- I can't wait to play as Mega Man!

Smash and Mario Kart. Those two games alone will provide YEARS of entertainment.

Grew up? What does playing video games have to do with growing up? I never understood that frame of mind. We're still playing games aren't we? Ok, so we may have grown up physically, but we're all still kids at heart or else we wouldn't still be playing games in our 30's.

Man, people complain no matter what. People also "said" Wii U needed better VC games. Games that hadn't released on the Wii VC. So what does Nintendo do? They release GBA games on Wii U VC.

And guess what happened? Everyone whined and complained the games weren't on 3DS. But had they come to 3DS, people would whine and complain that "Wii U needs the games". It's a lose-lose.

Problem is, even when a large chunk of people stop buying them they'll probably still continue to be made, due to the relative low cost of porting. So they're still making a profit either way. Only now the other 90% of gamers have to give up a potential new release to accommodate that small segment of gamers who insist on replaying the same games every 12 months.

I'm all for re-releases when they're actually dated games that can be brought into the current age...

To each their own, but to me it's never been about how many games come to the system, it's always been about how many GREAT games come to the system that are worth buying. A common misconception is that you NEED 3rd party support. Sure, 3rd party consoles need 3rd party support. But Nintendo hasn't needed 3rd party support in 20 years.

It's not like lack of 3rd party support just happened yesterday. You look at the top selling games for N64, Gamecube and Wii, ...

After all those games come out, it'll be E3 2015 and they'll be announcing a new lineup, and the cycle will continue.

Nintendo platforms have far less total games, but they're almost all must-own, top-shelf releases. So Nintendo can get away with only 10 major Wii U releases per year, because all 10 are games worth buying. PS4/X1 may get 50 major AAA releases per year, but when only 1 out of 5 are worth buying, you're left with the same 10 must-buy games per y...

Well, nostalgia is alive and well I see. I love the classic Mario games as much as the next guy, but you're wearing 6 inch thick rose-tinted glasses if you think those old games are better than newer entries like Mario Galaxy, 3D World and even New Super Mario Bros U.

It's a subscription service. Don't like it? No need to complain, just let your subscription expire.

That's what I did. You won't see me paying an extra $400 per generation in subscription fees for my PS4. Or Xbox One for that matter. What a waste. That's almost $1,000 per generation between the two. Money that could be better spent buying games I actually WANT to play on Wii U, PS4, X1, 3DS and Vita. Games that I can keep forever and play indefinitely.

Never played a Nintendo game I felt was "for kids". Pokemon is the closest thing and even THAT game is enjoyed by millions of adults.

But even if a game WAS "for kids"- if it's fun, who cares? Are we playing games to satiate teenage egos or are we playing for entertainment value? Cause if we're playing for entertainment, "who it's for" shouldn't be relevant.

Nintendo hasn't had "real 3rd party support" in 20 years. This isn't anything new. In fact, I think the Wii U has had MORE "real 3rd party support" than any Nintendo console in the last 3 generations. Logical fallicy number one.

And Nintendo doesn't make games for the same type of gamer as PS4 and Xbox One. They make a different KIND of game, and a different gaming experie...

Man I love the Wii U. Such a fantastic console, with one of the highest quality libraries I've seen in a long time, especially with all the E3 games on the way.

It's like every major release is my new favorite game of all time lol. Even the digital games are better than most retail releases. Most recently being Pushmo World and Shovel Knight.

This game stands toe to toe with Capcom and Nintendo classics of old. Shovel Knight is SO good. Just perfect in every way.

Surely we'll see a sequel or two from Yacht Club Games. There's no way they're going to leave this franchise untouched after the critical acclaim it's received.

Can't wait for a release date. Come on Shinen- stop dangling the carrot and show us the game already!
