Power is not the reason it doesn't have third-party games. It's right on par with PS3, and it's not getting those games. Why? Because power was never the issue. The games don't sell to the audience, that's the reason.

Even Mario Kart 8 is nifty how you can swap between the track map (which clears your HUD as well) and off TV play in real time.
I don't know if people expected a revolution from a 6 inch screen, but it's just a 6 inch screen. It displays things. Having said that it comes in very handy with the streamlined gameplay and what not.

I've played every major release this year on all 5 platforms (and then some), and nothing I've played this year even came close to Bayonetta 2.
Combat is the best part! The original was praised across the board for its innovative combat system- in fact it's probably main reason the game is regarded as the best JRPG of the 7th generation.
And don't forget about Yoshi's Wooly World- the Yoshi game I've been waiting for for 20 years. And Kirby Rainbow Curse, since Canvas Curse was such a joy to play. And Star Fox. And Devil's Third. And hopefully SMT x Fire Emblem will drop next year too.
But yes, Xenoblade, Zelda U and Splatoon (and Star Fox) are definitely the big ones...
Nothing was downgraded. That's what happens during mass production with assembly lines. Unless the figures are deburred and painted by an artists hands, this is how it works. You create the master, then make a mold for casting. The common castings will always be of a slightly lesser quality. For 12 bucks, this is as good as it gets. You want higher quality without the higher price, doesn't work that way.

With all due respect, I own all three consoles and by no means do I regard the PS4 controller as better than the Gamepad. It's a solid controller but I'm sorry, the mouse pad just doesn't quite measure up to a 6.2 inch touchscreen.
I'd rate the Ps4 controller as being better than the Xbox One, SLIGHTLY, mainly due to the fact that RB/LB is an awkward reach on the X1 controller. And I'd rate the PS4 controller as being about equal to the Wii U Pro Controll...
Maybe they'll drop a surprise announcement of the DKC trilogies being available on the North American eShop...

Well that sucks. I speak English- when you localize a game to an English-speaking nation it only makes sense that the game is in English.
I can tolerate a game here and there that doesn't get an English dub, but this is getting ridiculous. Natural Doctrine, then Freedom Wars, now this? Do ANY Vita games come in the English language anymore?

You could go buy Bayonetta 2 and a 2 yr sub of GCU, and you'd only pay $48 for the game and another $30 for the subscription. Total of $78 (which is only $18 more than the game would've cost) and not only do you get the highest rated game of this generation, you get Bayonetta as well, one of the highest rated games of the past generation, AND 20% off every new game you buy for the next two years.
