Affirmate. Pro Controller IS supported.
Master Chief Collection, unlike LBP, has a single player campaign that is actually fun. And not just one of them, but four very playable, very epic campaigns.
The problem lies in the fact that people seem to be under the impression that AAA multiplats are the best games. They'll tell you that sure, they would love to play Nintendo games but they absolutely cannot miss those AAA multiplats. Missing those games, to them, is a deal breaker.
But for those of us who play Nintendo games, we feel the exact opposite. We feel like sure, we'd love to play those AAA multiplats but we absolutely cannot miss those Nintendo games. Missin...
The market favors shovelware and mega-budget AAA. The market watches crap movies simply because they're big budget and were advertised the most. The market listens to Lady Gaga and garbage rap r&b simply because that's what's popular and that's what's shoved in their face as acceptable in the culture.
I wouldn't use the market's judgement to argue anything.
Those are all excellent games. But they're not the only excellent games. And I think that's something people tend to overlook. I notice this trending attitude that AAA is the only way to play. I like AAA (so much so I bought a PS4 AND X1), but by no means do I feel those games are the gold standard. Nintendo has quite a few games of their own, and the exclusives they do get from third parties tend to be top notch as well.
I hear a lot of people rattle off AAA games t...
I loved Darksiders 2, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Batman Arkham City, heck even CoD BO2 was great on the Wii U due to the additional control schemes offered on the console, weather motion or second screen integration.
It doesn't really bother me too much if the Wii U doesn't get multiplats. After all that's what I own PS4 and Xbox One for. But I'll definitely take em if they come. It was nice to get a few, and be able to enjoy them with that streamlined second...
For me, I'm still waiting for a Portal 3 and F-Zero. And oh how sweet it will be when one of those games makes it comeback!
Heck, even just getting Pikmin 3 after 9 long years was exciting enough...
They still do GTA proper though, which actually surprises me a little. I was sure that game would've become annualized by now
NON-ANNUAL FRANCHISES

Infamous Second Son
Wolfenstein The New Order

As per usual, PS1 had the larger library, and more good games, BUT, while N64 had less total games and less total "good" games, the best games on N64 were vastly superior to anything the PS1 had to offer.
Basically, just like it is today. More games and more good games on PlayStation, but the best of the best is found on Nintendo.
Playstation, to me, is the console known for having 100 good games.
Nintendo, to me, is the console known for ha...
I can respect that, but as someone who genuinely enjoys Nintendo's games more than words can express, I feel compelled to implore you to pick up a Wii U and give Pikmin 3 a go and see what you think. Give DKC Topical Freeze a run through and see what you think. Check out Mario Kart 8, and 3D World, and heck even Zelda Windwaker if you skipped the GameCube, and give these games a fair shake.
Or even just scoop a 3DS this holiday and try Fire Emblem Awakening, or Zelda Link...
That F-Zero Mute City course is beyond excellent. In fact this whole DLC pack is beyond excellent.
Nintendo does DLC right. In fact, I dare say they offer the best DLC (content-wise AND value-wise) in the industry. That Pikmin 3 DLC was nearly as good as this, and that Mario Golf World Tour season pass... Heck even that New Super Luigi U DLC was a steal...
It's not just Bayonetta 2. There's a grip of supremely excellent games on Wii U and 3DS that they can stand tall on. Games different than anything else out there. If you saw a screenshot of the average AAA title, or even a video clip with the character running around the city, you'd be hard pressed to tell which game it was. Human protagonist traversing the city with weapons, serious story and realistic visual style. Pretty much covers most of the AAA games out there.

If only. Unfortunately power isn't enough to bring in the multiplats. The games just never sell on Nintendo platforms. You can believe if the games sold well on Nintendo, they'd be clamoring to bring their games to the system. They bring em to PS3 and 360 and this have less power. Difference is, the games sell on PS3 and 360.
It's all good though. I like owning multiple consoles anyways. It's the badge of a true gamer ;)
Of course I have the GameCube bundle coming, but I'm tempted to preorder digitally as well.
Nintendo's really doing a great job lately of improving their hardware functionality...
The author is clearly smoking something if he thinks that FOUR excellent Halo games, remastered, full campaigns and multiplayer, are not worth $60.
Halo Master Chief and Bayonetta 2 are by far the most game you will ever get for your money. Bar friggin' none.
Ubisoft: "See, the game doesn't run on EITHER console. Full parity, as promised"
Pikmin 3. One of the most charming, creative and addictive games ever conceived.
That game right there is the pinnacle of his career, but as usual people just ignore it or dismiss it.
Dude, Hyrule Warriors was fun as hell.
The stereotyping is really a turn off in this comment section. People say "Mario and Zelda" as if that's a bad thing and as if that's the only games you'll ever find on their consoles. For one, I'll take super Mario 3D world over every game on that list any day of the week. Mario is fantastic. And so is Zelda. In fact, it's quite possibly the funnest game series ever created. I'll take Skyward Sword or ...
You people are out of your minds lol.
So you're calling Mario Kart 8 worthless? Pikmin 3 worthless? Wonderful 101 worthless? Mario 3D World worthless? Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate worthless? Bayonetta 2 worthless? I could go on, but I think it's safe to say your judgment is irrevocably impaired.
Whether or not it's the last game has no bearing on my decision to play a great game. Its actually kind of irrelevant don't you think? I mean, whether or not they bring any more games has nothing to do with your enjoyment of this one.
