Yes, otherwise there really isn't a point in my opinion.
Everything hits the ceiling eventually, but considering Ghosts will be on Xbox 360/Fusion, PS3/PS4, Wii U, PC and maybe handhelds, it'll probably be the best selling COD of all time.
It is catchy, I preferred Infinity, but I can live with Fusion, sure beats 720 in my opinion.
Next gen is just the order in which a console is released, nothing more, nothing less. Has absolutely nothing to do with power or features, just the order it's released.
That's what it's always meant to me, and the technical term as well.
Wow this game looks really good! I think it'll be great when the Wii U gets some games, then the haters will have to come up with something else to hate on, rinse, wash, repeat.
Looks like Nintendo is getting some quality games.
Confirmed for Wii U as the only console.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard today, and I just heard about a controller in a teddy bear butt! So it's saying a lot.
Sometimes I think the industry wants to fail.
Interesting, I still play Eternal Darkness on my Gamecube from time to time. I'll definitely pay attention to this in the future. Nice to see some quality news for a change.

Those are totally different situations, the Dreamcast was a great console that had a lot of fun games, but the fans had given up on Sega because of past instances where they would make an add on and quickly drop support (Sega CD, 32X).
Nintendo hasn't lost consumer confidence, and in many cases some parents might only be aware of Nintendo because they have been around so long. When I was younger my mom used to say "Stop playing Nintendo" even when I was on Genes...
There will be a ton of mobile devices, so I get that, but I don't think it replaces consoles or dedicated handhelds. It's just that the market will be saturated with them, and thus they will be the majority.
The articles title is a bit misleading because it's not really insinuating that consoles are dying, just talking basic numbers.
I'm gonna play the hell out of that demo, hopefully it's a fun game and I'll want to buy it after I try it.
I think it's definitely worth it to people who don't buy a lot of games throughout the year, I had a years worth but didn't renew because about 75% of the content was games I already owned. I'm sure that isn't a big problem for the majority, but for someone who buys a ton of games each year, it ended up not being worth it to me.
It's a huge franchise for certain, it'll bring a lot of different types of gamer's to Microsoft's unveiling. We have to keep in mind of all the different types of gamer's that like and play COD, it's basically an institution and every single year millions of people look forward to it.
I don't think it'll win a generation, but it is a feather for Microsoft to have at their event. I'm sure Sony would have loved to have it at theirs, and all ...
This doesn't sound like something gamer's would actually want, or need.
So you think Microsoft shouldn't advertise all the other functions the next Xbox can do because you feel like it'll take away from games? Even though Microsoft has the most first party studios, and partnerships with the top third party studios?
Since when did it become a bad thing to want to achieve something? Microsoft shouldn't be punished because they can afford to market their things to more people, all the third party games will be there, that makes up 90% of...
See, there are other options, and you aren't forced to buy an Xbox or Xbox Live. Yet we still see people complain about it, even though the service has continually grown and is now at 46 million users, up 15% which is huge.
It's not for everyone though, if you are a budget gamer I'd highly recommend going another route. As a Live subscriber for 8 years, I couldn't be happier with the service, but then again I'm constantly using it.
I think it depends on what you like, I am bored of the generic first person shooters on the market, the ones that are like the band Dream Theater, technically proficient, but lack soul.
It's a COD game that features a lot of peoples favorite character Ghost. Masks are cool!
Not sure what that means bro.
