We don't have any idea of price, it's an interesting concept that requires absolutely no glasses, yet adds immersion into gaming.
For the first time in a long time, I've seen people praise something Microsoft is coming up with, I think it's cool, I've played video games on an HD projector before and I can attest to the fun level.
Do you honestly think they'd be teasing it like they are if it was never going to see release? You can get...
Nice to see Activision lump Wii U in with next generation, considering that term has always been the number in which a console was released and not the power, it makes sense.
I will be taking off work those couple of days, I always watch the pressers, and there is a lot at stake when it comes to Microsoft and their shows this year, so many rumors to address, hopefully they do it in a funny way.
As someone who bought Fable 1 at launch, and enjoyed it very much, I have to disagree. I remember people hating on Fable because it didn't live up to all the hype, but was still a great game. Fable 2 won a ton of GOTY awards, including X-Play's GOTY award, I loved the game very much.
Fable 3 was obviously rushed, but still offered some fun, and has actually gone on to sell rather well.
He doesn't work for Microsoft anymore, and I kind of doubt h...
The more developers the better, no matter what the guy has done some quality work, Black And White and the first two Fables are amazing games.
I doubt he does anything with Microsoft though, considering he was most likely let go, I like Kinect and some of those things as much as the next guy, but I think ol' Petey wanted that on everything, and it just doesn't work on everything.
Well I'll counter that by saying the COD games have sold amazingly well on the Xbox 360 and PS3, topping both consoles most sold list, but the Xbox 360 versions always sold more, the commercials always focused on the Xbox 360 and even featured the Xbox logo at the end of the commercials.
I'll also say that I've been in the store when people were talking about which version to get, and they opted for the 360 version because of the maps a month early. If you are a ...
I'm not against that idea, I like the idea of third party exclusives less and less these days, and I thought that trend was dying out, but now it seems to be gaining momentum again.
True, but the number of player is important to me, one thing I like about playing COD on Xbox Live is that I've never run into the same player twice, I roll with my team and it's just good fun, I don't want a Wii U experience where there is only 20k online.
Hmmm, lots of partnerships going on lately.
There hasn't been a "near perfect" console in the history of consoles, they all have issues.
Microsoft did right with the 360 and offered free 3 year warranties on all of them. I know some people who would send them in claiming RROD when it was really a disc drive or they spilled something on it, since they would get the box, then ship you a refurb, I think it was classy of them.
The whole thing gets blown up so much, the real issues were only...
If it's an amazing new engine, what will the angry people on the interwebs complain about?
The next gen versions are built on a brand new engine that will be shown off at Microsoft's event on May 21st.
The only question is which console to pre-order for? I could get it on Xbox 360 like usual and play with like over a million people, or get it on next gen Xbox and play it with significantly less? It's a tough choice..
It's supposed to be an entirely new engine, which is what I'll be looking forward to, hopefully the online coding will be straightened out. Obviously COD is the most popular game around right now, so this is a big feather in the cap, as everyone will associate the May 21st reveal with the biggest game around.
It'd be kind of unprecedented if Microsoft got deals with Activision and EA, but Microsoft has the money to make it happen. I also wouldn't count out Bu...
This is what excited me as a gamer, no not COD in particular, but the build up and excitement until we see new hardware and software, it's the best time to be a gamer, and I'm so wired about all this news now, it just seems to real.
That would be nice, I mean I don't hate the online, but the story WAS the game. Looking forward to seeing more on this in the future.
For a teaser I liked it, but now we have to wait all the way until Microsoft unveils the next Xbox to actually see the new engine and game.
Although it wont be popular around here or the internet, Microsoft is smart if they managed to lock up DLC early again for next generation as well, forming alliances with Activision and EA could pay off in a big way for them.
Their reveal is on schedule, May 21st, and Activision is revealing the next gen Call Of Duty there. I don't think we'll have to wait long for these rumors to be sorted out.
People must forget that Microsoft launched the 360 in 2005, almost 8 years ago, they've had plenty of time to test, work things out. The 360s is the perfect example of a quality console with little to no issues.
Actually for E3 it looks like Microsoft might have Respawn Entertainment and their new IP. That is just for starters, and since Peter doesn't work for Microsoft or Lionhead, I doubt he'd have any say in any Microsoft games for the future.
When you consider the guy works on IOS games, it's easy to see why this interview was really searching for a correlation.
And Duke Nuken Forever, so it's tough knowing which developer you'll end up with.
