"Gamers are, overall, reacting to the next Xbox more positively. Fizziology's research indicates 32% positive sentiment towards the next Xbox compared to just 10% of negative sentiment in all conversation surrounding it. It's about the same as the reaction to Sony's PS4 announcement."
Very interesting indeed, I think during Microsoft's show, they will dominate social media for the next few days to come, I'm ready for the influx of information and me...
I like the Assassins Creed games, but AC3 was a bit of a letdown, I hated Connor and thought he whined a lot, wasn't interesting, and overall I felt like I was lied to a bit from the Ubisoft E3 shows and demo's.
I loved Far Cry 3 though, great game and a lot of fun to play through, I think every year for a game like AC is a bit much, but seeing as they sell 12+ million copies a year, I'm sure they will continue on.
My personal list is:
Alan Wake 2
Project Gotham Racing 5
Class4-MMORPG from Undead Labs
Fable MMO
Ryse
I definitely want to see more than these 5, but those 5 are definitely interesting to me.
I think we'll see something Halo, but Halo 2 HD makes much more sense and will probably release on the Xbox 360 as well.
Yea, I watched that Max And The Brotherhood gameplay on that video and was blown away! I have never heard of it before, but if that is the quality they are going for, I'm going to have a great time with the next gen XBLA.
You beat me to it, I was like wow, they killed off your character with a nuke!
Even though people will hate on COD, the campaigns, particularly were good, short, but action packed and solid. When compared to campaigns of other shooters like Battlefield 3 and both new Medal Of Honor games, you see it's harder than you'd think to put out a solid multiplayer game that includes a good campaign.
EA will want every Star Wars game on Frostbite Engine, the Battlefront 3 footage that you saw, and keep seeing, died with Free Radical, they've said as much.
Star Wars 1313 will never release looking like what we saw, that too is going to be redone in Frostbite Engine, per EA themselves. So whatever was done, will be scrapped.
Sadly, the developers are all great, but EA is greedy and not the best publisher, so I'm optimistic about the future of Star ...
Very smart move by Microsoft, they need to attract different types of developers, games and gamer's. I cannot wait to see the new approach they will be taking with the next Xbox.
Getting rid of MS Points is also another step in the right direction. May 21st is going to be a very telling day indeed.
Every single Microsoft console has had PC architecture, Microsoft is based off PC's and software, the original Xbox was the Direct-Xbox, before being shortened to just Xbox.
This will mean developers and everyone will fawn over the next Xbox as well, happy that the next Box will be easy to develop for, and I'm just counting the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the future is reveled!
I don't know about all of that, I've been saving money for the next Xbox since last year, I have been there on day one for many a console, dating back to the Dreamcast which I was able to buy with my own money. I want to experience the new games and features right away.
Personally, I just recently got my first Smartphone, it isn't something I'll be upgrading very often, and doesn't offer me anything a console can.
I love this series, vastly underrated in my opinion, and this new version looks fun!
Enjoyed the demo very much, looking forward to the game, hopefully the fun carries over to the retail release.
This is the right move, I like that Microsoft is paying attention. Things are lining up in a special kind of way for the huge Microsoft reveal!
Day one! Just like when it originally came out on the SNES!
Hmmm, would have been nice to get some kind of story DLC.
State Of Decay is looking epic! That game is supposed to be the precursor to Class4, which is the MMORPG that is most likely going to launch with the next Xbox. Was originally supposed to be the Xbox 360's first MMORPG.
We've heard it isn't going to be competitively priced with game consoles though, and as much as $1000, so that puts it absolutely out of the question for me, I can get a PS4/Xbox 720 for that price.
It's all the negative rumor articles that have got peoples interest. I kept saying that there is no bad publicity, and Microsoft did the smart thing by not panicking and sticking with their plan.
Now the ball is in their court, what we do know is that Microsoft will spend limitless money on advertising and we'll be seeing next Xbox everywhere, television, movies and magazines.
Wow, $100 DLC ? I understand it's free to play, or pay to win, but that is a lot of money. Why not just release a physical game and Season Pass?
It's a next generation console because it's the console that came after this generation. "Next gen" isn't a term used to describe the actual tech inside, that doesn't matter, although there is always an improvement from generation to generation. The simple FACT is that the Wii U is the next generation console from Nintendo.
What in the world does GT6 possibly coming to the PS4 have to do with Microsoft or Nintendo?
