Lol there's also been a bug on Vita for like a week where games you got via PS Plus won't download.
Well, let's be real, what most people want is a way to play these games on PS4/PS5. If they release them there as you say, the fact that there's a way to buy them on PS3 (which most people either don't have or no longer want to use) is not going to be a major factor to most people. I mean I own a PS3 but I'd rebuy some of these games if they'd make them more stable.
Calm down Greg, it's soccer. It's soccer.
Nice. Ban them all.
Not to mention it will probably get a boost everytime it gets a decent sale on PSN (this has probably already happened a few times when it's dropped under $50). I think this is a big overlooked reasons why so many games have longer sales legs now than they did fifteen years ago.
Yep. With a few exceptions where it makes a substantial difference, it's a major framerate killer for somewhat better lighting effects. If you have a high end PC and can manage high framerates even with Ray tracing, great. But on console it isn't worth dropping to 30 fps.
Later, NeoGamer232 realized he was commenting on a story about Far Cry 6, not Crysis Remastered.
This does make you wonder how they are going to measure success now. It can't just be downloads, because there will be people who download games just because they are on Gamepass who would not have otherwise been interested. My guess is that it will be some combination of hours played per user and new Gamepass subscriptions that coincide with a game's release.
Can you not connect a pro controller to the switch lite? My issue is with the analog sticks on the joycons. They are fine for platformers, etc, but I've never been able to use them well for aiming in fps games. In fairness I've never held a Switch Lite, so the sticks may be better than the joy con sticks.
It's in the PS Plus Collection that only PS5 owners have access to.
Yet the same people lose their minds when there is a AAA game because "everyone has it already." I guess people expected to get Far Cry 6, Alan Wake, and Back 4 Blood this month.
There's always one lol.
This game is shockingly decent on Switch lol. Although you definitely need a pro controller. Playing with the joycons is bad.
Hell Let Loose looks great, and it's a great choice for PS plus as the downfall of games like this on console tends to be a failure to establish a playerbase early. Tannenberg was like this; I got it and jumped in and really liked it, but it was so hard to find populated servers that I stopped trying pretty quickly. I don't really care about MKX but it's a really popular AAA game so I assume a lot of people will take advantage.
Unfortunately I think the higher ups often only see the most successful versions of the thing they are trying to do (in this instance, things like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Destiny) and think, "we need one of those. People love Marvel, so if we make a Marvel game like Destiny, it will be a cash cow."
It's like how in the years following Call of Duty 4, a lot of games that should have been single player focused had multiplayer components tacked on because the su...
Lol well I guess we're about to find out if this game really is broken or if that's just a bunch of "insiders" peddling clickbait.
Yep. Once again the PS5 version of a game outsold the PS4 version more than 2-1 (even though these are only physical games and some PS5s can't play physical games).
Exactly. This seems much more like they developed the Xbox version around Series X and neglected to optimize for the S.
While I don't think it's out of the question that games later in the gen really suffer on the Series S, this seems more like laziness that anything else. I mean Fifa is hardly going to push Series X/PS5 to their limits such that the Series S won't be able to handle it.
It is a bit sad. For all its flaws (and in some cases because of them), PS3 will probably always be my favorite console. I had a PlayStation and PlayStation 2 (along with Gameboy Pocket and Gameboy Advance), but PS3 is when I really got into gaming and became more aware of the industry and what games were actually good, etc.
