Lol that moment when you out yourself as one of the kids whose entire gaming experience has happened in the era where "beta" typically means "demo" and so you don't know how to react when you play a beta that's actually a beta.
It really feels like most of the people commenting on the beta haven't played it. Then again, most of the people who talk about BFV didn't play that either, so why not continue the trend?
Yep. I still play L4D2 with friends (the dedicated servers make it a great option for playing with friends around the world). I checked out the B4B beta and it made me super glad I didn't preorder. Other than having better graphics, it's like they took L4D, dumbed down the AI, and then just threw in some of the most annoying systems that have developed in multiplayer gaming in the last decade. I was playing with randoms online and they kept talking about how we needed to get this curr...
Which raises the question of why this game needs to have a progression at all.
Lol yet people still insist that they buy games on disc to save hard drive space, and when you point out what you just did, they say "it's common sense that disc-based games install less to the drive."
I still can't make "Bandai Namco" not sound wrong. But it doesn't sound as wrong as "Koei Tecmo."
Except people have moved into this generation faster than any other generation before.
Keep in mind this is a singer, not someone in games. Possibly she's an exception and maybe she follows games, but typically people like that have only a passing knowledge of games and might easily call something a "PlayStation game" without meaning it's a first party game.
@Nakiro
Ah the classic "I can't defend my position, so I'm going to plead apples to oranges."
@FlavorLav01
Lol Series X was supposed to have games at launch? Halo is the only one I'm aware of.
@Nakiro
Let's test that logic.
If Wii U was going to bomb, Nintendo wouldn't have made it.
If Vita was going to bomb, Sony wouldn't have made it.
If Anthem was going to bomb, EA wouldn't have made it.
If Avengers was going to bomb, Square Enix w...
And imagine how the unnecessary PS4 versions of the 1st party games are going to bomb because all the most interested people will already have PS5s.
It's hilarious that you are pretending to think prior BF games have succeeded because of their campaign modes.
@Lucas
ME3 was 2012 and that kind of article was happening earlier that gen. That's definitely a prominent example though.
Yeah it does feel like the spawn points could be spaced out better on some maps.
It's crazy that there are still people who won't admit Far Cry 2 was the best one. The started to get way more hand-holdy after that one. Still fun worlds to mess with, but never as good.
Interesting that a lot of reviewers are willing to explore the scale so much to hit a sequel just for failing to iterate adequately. I have two problems with that though: 1) are they going to be consistent with this? As in, will they ding Sports Games, COD, Assassin's Creed, etc for the same reason? and 2) does it really make sense to hit a game so hard just for failing to iterate when you give games that are essentially broken higher scores? Like is FC6 really a 4 when games that have tr...
If you are buying the next gen physical edition, why do you need to upgrade to the next gen version?
Haha remember when every "Games Journalist" wrote an article every week about "Gamer Entitlement"?
That's annoying. I just got a larger memory card for my Vita and found out about it a few days ago when I tried to download some more stuff to fill it up, and then I checked out the Vita subreddit and they were acting like it was about a week old. What you say is even worse though, obviously.
