It seems like there is a new "you should buy a Wii U" article just about every day on here.
This game can't come soon enough.
The thing is, if you are okay with playing on medium settings and a solid but not insane framerate, you can play most PC games on a reasonably priced PC. In fact, you can look at the steam hardware statistics and see the the vast majority of users don't have top end machines, despite what all the "master race" types on here claim to have.
I'm a fan of indies branching out from just doing 2D platformers (I know there are plenty of indie games across genres, but it seems like a disproportionate share are 2D side-scrollers).
@ hazelamy
When trying to present yourself as the reasonable person in a debate, who ostensibly objectively evaluates what the other side is saying, it probably doesn't help to say "they bleat" over and over, implying that those who don't agree with you are sheep. I'm pretty sure if -Foxtrot was saying that, you'd be calling him out on it.
But right now you playing Dragon Age isn't going to be affected if your cable starts cutting out and your provider doesn't do anything about it because they are a monopoly. In this future, it would.
I hate how they say to play Destiny with my friends if I want a No Man's Sky type of experience with multiplayer. Destiny doesn't have real space flight or combat. Destiny also only has 4 planets, and those each only have 1 area. I know it's their opinion, but Destiny doesn't come close to what multiplayer in No Man's Sky *could* be.
Yeah, where is all the "Indiestation 4" hate for this game?
UK just had that sweet half-off sale on PSN that US didn't get.
Ascension showed there is franchise fatigue. It sold fewer than half as many copies as GOW 3, despite a bigger install base. Time to move on.
Some games benefit from being exclusive, with the extra hype that comes with it. Exclusive games automatically have a core group of people who want to like a game because it is "their" exclusive. Also you can optimize for a certain system better with exclusives.
Wow I can't take my eyes off the 360/PS3 slideshows long enough to even think about the Wii U version.
So hyped.
I am including a link explaining how you can designate your PS4 as your primary system. In the off chance that you are actually having this issue and not just trolling, this should help:

He/She might not have his/her PS4 activated as a primary system for his/her PSN account. You can only play PS+ games offline if they are downloaded to your primary system. The sad thing is, sometimes people will intentionally decline to designate their PS4 as their primary one, download games, disconnect from the internet, then take pictures of the error message that comes up when they try to play their PS+ games while offline, in a trolling attempt to "prove" the PS4 has secret DRM...
Unfortunately PC gaming often falls flat when you want to play with friends. I love Steam, and mods are great (Far Cry 2 with mods continues to be awesome), but if you like to play games with friends, PS4 makes a lot of sense. Also many Japanese games come to console only, or at least first.
I think that games like Dishonored and Hitman (at least some levels) are a step in that direction. Not completely open-world, but semi-open levels with buildings that can be explored.
My thumbs are in the same place on both of my hands, so I prefer the DS4.
I guess that's why you commented.
Here it goes again.
