I agree. Hopefully between the fact that the slim ps4 is outselling the pro 4-1 (based on Sony's own numbers) and the weak showing/high price of X1X, this mid gen upgrade will be a one-time experiment.
I hope they can make 2017.
Do you get to play as Fatman?
Same. The Far Cry games since have improved in some areas, but have also become far more hand-holdy. 2 had a feel they've never quite recaptured, and unfortunately, no games seem to go for anymore.
Can't wait to see the "this game is dumb because it's about religion and religion is stupid" lefties and the "this game is anti-christian, anti-american, and anti-white" right-wingers argue past each other about this game, just like they did with BioShock: Infinite.
Lol I like how you pretend like "Muslims and brown people as enemies" is a universal thing and fighting Americans/White people is never done in video games. You sound like a writer for Polygon or Kotaku who never plays video games and just regurgitates inaccurate stereotypes. I'd be curious to hear whether you can actually support your position with actual examples or if you'd just generally cite FPSs.
I don't necessarily agree that overwatch is the best example, but I agree generally. As someone who bought the Switch at launch, it's frustrating to see so many devs talk about how much they like the console, only to follow up with how they have "no plans" to make games for it. Right now the system has great momentum, but it will need support to keep that up.
I appreciate their focus, but there are some houaemarque games that would be perfect for the switch. I'll be happy to play them on PS4, though.
Somehow you don't understand the difference between "No Japan Support=No Success" and "Japan Support=Success."
If you haven't played this yet, get it. As a PlayStation fanboy, this is the game I feel like I most missed out on by not having a 360/capable PC when it launched (I played it a few years after launch when I bought a decent PC finally).

It would be so awesome if they got rid of perks/killstreaks/deathstreaks . That garbage is even worse than the futuristic stuff.
This announcement should have been made on the 1st of the month.
I want you to be wrong so badly. A WWII COD without perks/deathstreaks/killstreaks could be a lot of fun. Sadly, it's more likely you'll be right.
I need to just break down and buy psvr. I actually have RE7, but I've been holding off because I want to play it in VR. Glad to hear the wait may be worth it.
When are people going to accept that Dead Rising has never been good, and the first one only sold because it came out early in the 360's life cycle when there was nothing else to buy?
This would be good. News aggregation without political opinion pieces (from any perspective I.e. gamergate, sjw, etc.).
I feel like anyone who won't acknowledge that Skyrim is an absolute standout game really just needs to admit that they don't want to like it because it caught on too well with the "mainstream." And I realize people have different tastes, but with certain games you have to be intellectually honest and acknowledge a great game, even if it's not for you (I.e. I'm not a Souls fan, but I can acknowledge Bloodborne is great, and I'm not really into open world racers, ...
I wonder how many of the people who criticize this game for lacking a single player bought overwatch and ignored Titanfall 2. My guess is a lot.
The thing you are missing is that the vast majority of people don't care about the Pro either. X1X will run games well, but ultimately it's 500 dollars for a system that plays the same games as systems that are four years old. It's going to be very niche.
