I vote for another remake of Stardust please... (Then Dead nation 2) :)

Really got back in to Dead Nation since downloading it on PS4.

I may check out the graphic novel some time, not sure I could sit through the film again.

Pretty much all of Aronofsky's earlier work is impenetrable on first viewing. Requiem for a Dream is still a film I want to watch again, but probably never will!

Ok, so maybe I was being a bit flippant with that point, but I don't think it's outrageous, or stupid.

I put a huge amount of hours in to both inFamous 1 and 2, and inFamous SS doesn't feel very different - certainly not different enough to warrant a 'next gen' tag, regardless of improved physics or AI (which I always thought provided a good challenge in the 1st and 2nd games anyway).

Hmm, I like inFamous... but is this really the best 4 reasons it's next gen? Really?

Reason 1 - it's next gen because you can only play it on a next gen console!

Reason 2 - It's next gen because it looks good

Reason 3 - It's next gen because it uses a controller only available on a next gen console!

Reason 4 - You have more powers than in the previous games

Wow... That'll have them lined u...

fool.com is actually a really well respected financial site.

Why they keep creating these trash video game articles is beyond me. Stick to what you know fool.com, stop embarrassing yourself!

I felt Blizz definitely played it safe with SC2. They obviously didn't want to rock the boat with the eSports crowd.

Felt almost like a re-skin of SC1.

Seriously. The Fountain... 10/10?

To each his own, but I believe I still have a headache from watching that :)

Since when has 7/10 been mediocre!!?? Did I miss the memo.

5/10 and below for me is the where mediocrity begins!

I think, in general, we've moved to some ridiculous scoring system where anything less than 8 is now somehow a bad or mediocre title, and a game has to score between 9.0 and 9.9 to be seen as merely 'good'.

It's crazy.

I'm not a huge fan of inFamous SS, but it is in no way a mediocre game. It&...

I don't necessarily agree with everything you said, but you make a well constructed post, and I do agree that video games is a unique field of journalism for it's bias and BS.

For me, the biggest thing is that reviews come out pretty much the day before, or even AFTER the game releases, due to NDA rubbish.

I remember back when all reviews were found in magazines, and so were published anything up to a month before the game launched. Whilst I realise ...

Same here! Not sure why, but then again I don't follow every XB1 announcement!

I just kinda assumed it was known or coming. I mean, why would Blizz make it exclusive to PS4 / last gen consoles?

I could understand it if Blizz had kept the real money Auction House in place for the console versions, as MS has always been more closed to this sort of thing - but with it gone from PC and console, there's not much to stop it happening.

I can't say I particularly like the main character, or his brother - but he is in no way annoying enough to stop me playing the game.

I'm just over 50% of the way through, and I must admit I kinda agree with the review so far.

The game is solid, good looking, and fun - but it's not blown me away. The missions to clear out the the districts get pretty repetitive. The powers are OK, but there's little point than to use the one or two most effective attacks for each type of power and then spam them.

Overall I would say this is on par with inFamous 1 and 2, but other than awesome ...

@Qwagy

There's not 3 times the number of PS4's out there than XB1's, even allowing for people who own both. MGS just seems more popular on Playstation than XB1.

And TF is multiplat, and will get a huge bump in sales once the 360 version releases (if it ever releases)

It's based on the model Adriana Lima.

They mention it on the project page.

Saying a game that last 2 hours can't be given a score of 9/10 is as stupid as saying a book can't be considered a classic if it's less than 500 pages, or a movie if it's shorter than 3 hours.

Quality is in the eye of the beholder. If someone thinks a 2 hour game is worth the score, and can accurately justify why, then it deserves the meaningless number attributed.

I'm not saying Ground Zeroes is worth a 9/10 - I've not played it, but...

Lol at the disagree.

First traceable instance of 'virtual reality' was in the 1800's.

First head mounted VR / AR display, late 1960's

Founding of MS 1975

And lets not forget that the Morpheus is not the first time Sony have dabbled in VR. They had working protypes back in 2011. http://www.joystiq.com/20...

GAME was also doing a deal for a while where you could trade a PS3 or 360 plus any five disc games and get an XB1 for £299 with FIFA 14. You just had to show the email where GAME sent with the offer - it wasn't advertised in stores, so not sure how much impact it would have had.

That was a pretty cheap deal, I was almost tempted. but as I still play PS3 a lot, and no longer own a 360 I didn't want to take advantage of it.

I think it's more likely that 'Without tools to easily integrate VR in to games' it'll be a bust.

If Sony / Oculus team can provide tools that work with existing engines / SDK's, so that the time and cost to add VR functionality is negligible, then it'll succeed.

I've heard Sony are already working with a few engine developers to add the tools / functionality. That should really help it take off.
