Hard to say...
I guess everyone will hope for HD sprites / backgrounds as a minimum.
What some great Monday morning news! :)
It may take a while to get to the West (and fingers crossed it does get translated), but I can wait.
With mods, this is the best game of all time.
RPG, MMORPG, Survival, PvP or just building crazy machines... Minecraft does it all.
Well, it'll be interesting to see if 'Metal' makes any difference or is just hyperbole. It looks promising.

Seems to be the theme of this generation
On the bright side... Destiny is likely to consume enough hours to get us to 2015...
EDIT: As for Planetside 2...I really hope SOE put more of a tutorial / new joiners experience in to it. I played the original Planetside to death, but because Planetside 2 is so much bigger I found it hard to get in to on PC - felt like I was always chasing battles rather than taking part. (But still very much looking forward to it on PS4, but think Destiny is likely to get in the way)
Things like PS+ Instant Games Collection, Xbox Live's Games with Gold, and Steam Sales are all reducing my need to buy full priced games, especially on Day 1.
There are obvious exceptions... but generally my purchasing habits are changing and I am less likely to spend the full price - especially with the leap of price from last gen to this gen (which is even increasing PC prices)
As much as I like iOS games - I've never played an iOS FPS on touch screen that worked well. I would think a controller is an essential add on... And even then, most of the ones I've seen are digital, not analogue.
Wow, this article really uses a hundred pointless words where 10 would do!
I'm afraid that argument just doesn't... stack up
It only works horizontally...
The REAL question is how do they stack up vertically! And we all know MS' position on that!
I'm getting really tired of these half-assed negative articles. Where has the positivity gone? It seems people get hyped for a handful of games, and everything else (actually, including the hyped games) gets a huge number of detracting arguments.
The author raises three points...
1. del Toro creates amazing creatures... Bbbbut...
2. He Directed Hellboy and Pacific Rim!!
3. And he has previously tried to get games create...
I play as many games on mobile as I do on PC, PS4, WiiU, Vita and my XB1.
There are some amazing games on mobile - especially digital board games.
Claiming people aren't 'real gamers' because they like iOS games is utterly ridiculous.
Amazing how the market in Japan has changed over the last few years.
@Gh05t and StifflerK
Those are two of the best responses I've seen to this fiasco. And echo my own thoughts as well.
Well said!
Part of the problem with 'corruption' in the gaming journalism industry is that we have so many 'journalists' with zero training or qualifications in the field.
And far too many of these journos are just lookgin to be best pals with the developers. The amount of pandering I see ...
I like Titanfall and think it was a solid first game from Respawn - but even though I bought the expansions I quickly lost interest.
I think what turned finally me away was the matchmaking - It seemed that more often than not I was on a team of other noobs versus a team of high Gen players and it was a massacre. The time I could invest in the game was limited, so when I did play I wanted a balanced team, and considering this was online-only I think the matchmaking should hav...
I don't play either as I suck and have little interest in dedicating the hundreds of hours to become just mediocre :)
But as a spectator I find the production values of Riot / LoL far better than DoTA2 - so although I probably prefer DoTA2 in terms of map / mechanics / game play - LoL is much better and easier to watch and much closer to a proper 'sports' broadcast.
SM64 was the reason I bought an N64. One of those landmark games that changed the industry
These arguments were far better when they were contained to the school playgrounds - rather than spewed on to the internet.
I see where you're coming from - but with a power brick, plus cables, and HDMI cable all hanging out of the machine, one more cable for a discreet 2.5" external drive doesn't seem like a big deal.
I'd just tuck the drive behind the XB1 - it's not like the XB1 is a pretty looking box anyway.
Hopes were high?
For who?
Sony stated it wouldn't be shown. And after multiple E3's and TGS' and GamesCom's with almost no info, I am inclined to believe them!
