Awesome game.

Any sites giving this a low score are fools.

For the money, this is an addictive challenge. I miss the days when high score was the motivator to play again and again, and it actually took skill to master the controls and nuances of a game.

If you've not played GT5 yourself yet then the hypocrisy of your comment is fantastic.

Completely agree.

Nothing annoys me more than seeing DLC available to buy on Day 1 of a games launch.

Yeah, I made an impulse purchase of a Move controller when I heard how much fun Tumble was.

It's still good for a bit of casual multiplayer, but there are a lot of games I need to complete.

Wouldn't mind picking up Time Crisis for Move though. I love the arcade and PS2 games.

Funny how those who were most vocal on N4G about how fantastic, revolutionary, and awe inspiring Kinect was going to be, months before release...

...are also the one's who have zero issues and somehow managed to get magical special edition versions that work in any light condition, never lags, and can alter the very fabric of reality so they don't require as much space to use!

It's not about whether the trailer is entertaining (and I've seen plenty of trailers before a movie that are anything but entertaining!), it was a comparison to how we are forced to watch trailers/adverts in some circumstances.

Lets put it another way... Would you rather watch one advert a single time, or pay more for a game? Whose to say that ad revenue wouldn't be used to fund development, or allow the game to be sold for less money. Or maybe the devs just car...

@Xact

I don't think, Heavy Rain, Res Evil 5, RUSE; with Socom, LBP2 and Killzone 3 in the pipeline, is a that bad for core support in the first few months. And Move has supposedly sold something like 4 million, with at least a quarter of those in the US.

I have a Move controller, bought in anticipation of LBP2, and while I have never considered it for FPS games, or even for core games really, I will definitely try it on KZ3 and think it will make LBP2 le...

It is kinda weird. I was after a stand alone Move controller (as I already have a PS Camera)

Right now Amazon.co.uk are selling (through third parties) the Move for over £40 and have been for some time.

Most dedicated game shops I've been to have zero or limited stock of standalone Move controllers (although plenty of Starter Packs).

Most supermarkets seem to have a few Move's - and at a slightly lower price than RRP.

@thor

I don't think Sony ever said it was the next big thing.

Since the E3 announcement Move always seemed like just another peripheral option for the PS3 - just another controller. Sony put it out there and devs will develop for it if they want.

They don't seem to be paying devs to create games for it - but they've already got a mix of casual and hardcore titles.

Just like very PlayStation product, it will hav...

Maybe, but I doubt it.

My feeling is that MS spun off their 1st party studios to a) reduce costs, and b) so they could give their IP to any developer they wanted.

They are not pushing boundaries because they do not need to.

Their hardware is 'good enough'. The graphics are 'good enough' in most exclusives.

They have managed to grab a lot of market share from MS by having a 'good enough' mindset and st...

Big deal. It's a one off thing.

To those moaning about this... I suppose you turn up to the movie theatre late because you hate to watch the trailers. Refuse to watch TV channels that have adverts, or that isn't on PVR. Refuse to use an Xbox360 because they force adverts on you in the Dashboard. Refuse to buy DVD's/Blu-Ray that don't allow you to skip the adverts. And so on....

I really hope this doesn't happen.

First off we'd see Rock Band Kinect. And the idea of flapping about pretending to air drum or air guitar only sounds funny for about a millisecond!

Second, Harmonix is a developer who have pushed the boundaries of music games - this isn't a criticism of MS - but games on 360 don't really push boundaries.

Third. MS are pushing hard for the casual market. That is not a good sign for Rock Ban...

And what's your point Dirty? That PS3 owners are smarter than 360 owners cus they bought less motion control crap?? /jk

Can you honestly say you'd rather see massive sales of casual games (average ones at that), which will only lead to more casual crap, rather than MS investing in new IP, and more core games???

It's actually 55% vs 42% - the rest is made up of PC and other formats (but doesn't include digital downloads of PC version).

That's not a bad figure for PS3 really. Seems like it's a less popular console for FPS games. 360 version has exclusive DLC; and a slight edge in performance. Then factor in the larger install base in UK for 360. I'd have been really shocked if the PS3 version had outsold the 360.

C'mon, seriously?

You're measuring the success of Kinect Sports against sales of a totally different game on a totally different platform?

Think you may have wanted to slap a /s on that post, people are not too good with subtlety round here (if indeed it was sarcasm! :) )

Today 360 fans get to boast about CoD sales and PS3 fans get to say 'sales don't matter', or 'people are waiting for GT5'

And tomorrow PS3 fans can boast about PS3 about to overtake 360 in WW sales, and 360 fans can say sales don't matter cus it took the PS3 4-5 years to do it.

:)

Great idea. Hope Treyarch are trolling the CoD threads on N4G and steal your idea!!

I got clipped by a tomahawk in a game the other day. On replay it barely grazed my characters little toe... And yet I was dead!

Good job I suck at CoD, otherwise I'd be pretty annoyed to lose a huge killstreak from that!! :)

I'm actually cautiously optimistic.

GT2 and 3 were my faves, but I really disliked GT4 for some reason. The things that have always niggled me about the GT series, is that it states that it's he 'Real Driving Sim', and yet bouncing off barriers was not really a penalty; the AI was like follow my leader; and having a million variations on fairly boring cars was a tad annoying.

I'm a tiny bit disappointed by the car list. For me PD should ...
