Shenmue 2, HL: Episode 2, but IMO, the most frustrating of them all -
Tex Murphy: Overseer.
12 years have passed, and no sequel on the horizon. Damn!

"The game received almost worldwide critical and industry acclaim, including being named "Best PC Game of All Time" in PC Gamer's Top 100 PC Games and in a poll carried out by UK gaming magazine PC Zone. It was a frequent candidate for and winner of Game of the Year awards, drawing praise for its pioneering designs in player choice and multiple narrat...
Amen to that, mate. :)
Who cares about graphics when Planescape: Torment is one of the best and deepest games ever...alongside Deus Ex, of course. ;) Baldur's Gate, too.
I have to agree with this review. Aside from nice graphics, the game is boring and predictable, with story riddled with cliches.
IMO, Resident Evil 5 was really just an overhyped average shooter.
I just did a system shutdown, and then I turned the computer on again. From the moment it said "starting Windows", it took 22 seconds to boot to desktop, with Kaspersky 2010 and all the gadgets!
What those people are talking about is really beyond me...
And all of you saying that "Vista is horrible" or similar, learn to properly configure your system before come up with something like that.
Vista is really good OS, and Windows 7 is ev...
What happened to that (in)famous comment that PS3 fanboys like to pull out on Xbox 360 - "Hahaha, Forza 3 isn't capable of beating 2 year old demo (GT5:P)".
Well, if Sony and fanboys (again, not fans, but fanboys) is to be believed, PS3, with it's "limitless CELL power" should be capable of beating 2 years old PC game. Right?
Oh, wait...
Now, do you see what I did here?
This article (and sadly, just like majority of artic...
OK, as a totally unbiased observer (not owning, or plan to own any of the current-gen consoles... not really that much into games anymore aside from playing games on my PC from time to time... ;) ), I have to say that, GT5 looks better, when everything is taken into consideration.
Car models and lightning in GT5 looks better, while Forza 3 definitely has richer environments. The way I see it, PD has spent most of the hardware resources on models and lightning engine, while Turn10...
"the weakness for the Wii is the graphical and processing technology, which is last-gen... so you have to custom tailor your game to best use of the Wii's strengths, which is the Wii-mote. I don't think you can do that with a direct port."
Well, no sh1t, Sherlock! ;)
They also forgot to add Deus Ex Invisible War. Deus Ex was one of the best games of all time, with probably one of the worst sequels of all time. :(
I sincerely hope this is true, because Beneath A Steel Sky is one of my all time favorites.
Also, Monkey Island 5 would be nice...:)
Error 404... :(
Damn, Crysis Warhead's graphics pretty much destroys anything, on any platform today, and it's less hardware demanding than the original Crysis. :)
Shenmue, Deus Ex, Mass Effect, Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate, Metal Gear Solid,.... just to name a few REAL masterpieces.
In short, in my opinion, NO, Grand Theft Auto IV is far from "the greatest writing of the century".
Well, XP won in most tests, and Vista and 7 followed.
But, World In Conflict (a game that strongly relies on multi-core CPUs) ran faster on both Vista and 7, then on XP. This shows that (obviously) newer OSs takes advantage of multi-core CPUs better than (almost 7,5 years) old XP.
I think it's really just a driver issue, so performance will get better.
Did you even read the article?
"Windows Vista and Windows 7 take better advantage of multiple cores than Windows XP, but not enough to overcome XP's greater efficiency."
"...However, as you can see from the Scalability figures below, the improvement in performance of XP when moving from dual-core to quad-core paled to the gains of Vista and Windows 7, showing that the later operating systems take better advantage of multiple cores."

No, I'm not his "bodyguard", and it's not "my fact".

My point is that -GamertimeUK- is right (sort of).
:)
I'm just stating facts. There's nothing really "good" or "bad" in my post. I agree with everything you said (I also prefer smaller and less populated towns, than megalopolises :) ).
-GametimeUK-'s point is that population of Norway is 4,800,326, and that's basically 70% of London population (for example), and ~4 times less than population of New York...
Mine too, bro. :)
